To start with my room was nasty, the bathroom looked someone had been mud wrestling in the tub and the ceiling had a hole above the shower head. After being moved to another room, we had no towels and it took about an hour to get enough for two people and there were three of us. Then later that night we had to call the maintains person to come and plunge the toilet. Most of the staff acted like they had no ideal what to do in any situation. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I'm giving 5 stars based on location (right across the street from the light show, water play and dinotaurium), cleanliness, value for price and service. The building is dated, but it's comfortable and had a nice sized pool. We were traveling with two small children ages 3.5 and 5 so this place was ideal as we did not spend much time in our room. The room is huge with a large bathroom and living area which allowed enough room for them to get their energy out. Property is surrounded by beautiful lawn and scenery. My husband took a relaxing morning run. All in all, it fit everybody in the family's needs.

Ok...so the water was dirty. I saw mold. The ceiling was super dirty, etc. It seems nice on the outside but it's really not. Toilet and sink water was yellow and the bathtub was brown. Don't stay here.

This hotel was pricey, but it was FILTHY and poorly maintained. The water from the faucets was BROWN. Here’s a list of all the things in my room that didn’t work or wasn’t right: phone, refrigerator, iron, some wall sockets, desk chair, coffee but no coffee pot, trash in the hallway left there over 32 hours (used napkins and tissues, empty butter containers, etc), huge bags of trash left in the hallway for over 32 hours, and no vending machines. This was a Marriott hotel and I am SHOCKED at the state of it. I complained to the front desk employee immediately upon arrival. She told me nothing could be done because it was late. She got her manager, Brunesha, on the phone and Brunesha said there was nothing that could be done. I asked if I could move to another room and was told there were no rooms available even though there were only about 25 cars in the parking lot. I asked if I could get the refrigerator and phone changed out and was told no.THE MOST AMAZING THING OF ALL IS THAT NO ONE FROM THE HOTEL EVER FOLLOWED UP WITH ME ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WITH MY ROOM, INCLUDING THE MANAGER, BRUNESHA. THEY KNEW I WAS VERY DISPLEASED AND THEY MADE ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT TO FIX THE PROBLEMS.

We had to take a smaller room because at 6:30 pm our room still wasn't ready. The front desk staff were doing their best but even they couldn't get management to answer the phone. Two of our family members had to go home because there was no room for them to stay. We reserved a room for 8 people and had to settle for a 3 person room. Very disappointed.

Location is neat, could see the laser and firework show from our open door, and the old fashioned ambiance is sort of charming. I don't mind that the rooms were outdated, but the cleanliness was not great: dead roach in the bathroom, all around dingy-ness.And, for the love of God, be sure not to leave anything behind in your room! Trying to get a hold of someone about a lost item took me literally hours, tear of frustration, multiple call backs on different days. It's a nightmare to get through the phone tree or to get someone to pick up at the front desk, the Stone Mountain Inn itself is only open on weekends, and the staff at the sister property, Mariott Evergreen whatever, was phenomenally, gobsmackingly unhelpful (telling me to call back two hours or five days later when it had taken me 40 minutes just to get a human being on the phone, never offering to take my name, number, and a description of the missing item, never returning my call when I finally convinced someone to take down my information (should have seen that one coming, of course). It's my kid's favorite stuffed animal, and I've been dealing with tears all week-- what if it had been medication, or a laptop, or something truly necessary?

So far so good. Had a birthday party here. Very nice. My only dilemma was that there was a lot of debris in the he pool as we swam. Plastic baggies leaves a floating beer bottle.... I know sometime it's hard to catch everything... Just FYI.

Despite the fact that the hotel was not cheap, the rooms were in a terrible state of disrepair. The grounds had discarded beer cans, but the room was horrible. There were dead cockroaches on the couch and floor, the carpet had a moldy odor, the shower had apparent mildew, and multiple things in the room were broken. The most serious was the rear sliding door (which is an outside door). The lock mechanism and other hardware were absent and an apparently added lock on the track didn't work. When I spoke with the staff to try to get a lock for the door, I ran into other guests with serious room issues. They offered a room change, but, based on the input from other guests, the other rooms may have been reasonably expected to be worse. They made a "show" of repairing the (added) door lock, but I still easily opened the door (in the "locked" position, without the use of any force. I was promised a refund for one day by the evening hotel attendant, but she didn't do what she promised. This hotel is terrible!

My reservation was messed up somehow but Zay took care of me. She was the friendliest hotel worker I've ever met. She went out of her way to make sure my stay was enjoyable! Thank you Zay!

Clean and spacious rooms, wonderful views and continental breakfast. Needs a bit of updating but has the old classic feel that the park is supposed to give off. Staff was helpful and very friendly. You do have to pay $20 to get into the park and you still have to pay to do all the other things in the park such as the laser show and other activities.
