Oxtail is very expensive we know that but this is a Large dinner Oxtail the flavor and portion size it just not there to be 27.00.
Made it in before the lunch rush. My cravings kicked in while driving on Memorial drive and I gave in. Customer service was fast and friendly. Ordered the large oxtail dinner. Gonna need a lot of energy while working in this heat. The presentation was looking so juicy and delicious. The itis will kick in as I get to work. Haha. It’s all worth it. My stomach thanks you.
I have never had any issues with this place until today. I ordered a large red pea soup with no food and one beef patty and mistakenly received a beef soup and a beef patty, but I didn’t realize it until I was a mile away on Memorial Drive. I picked up the phone and called them and the owner (the female) answered the phone.I explained to her that I ordered a large red pea soup and instead received a large beef soup. Her response to me was, “If I ordered a red pea soup then that’s what I would’ve received”. I said to her that I knew what I ordered. She placed me on hold to speak to her staff. She then came back on the phone and advised me that I can come by and exchange it for the red pea soup.I drive all the way back and got in line. The owner came from the back and said to me,”Are you the one with the soup?” I said yes. I walked up to the counter and she said that her daughter said that she asked me several times if it was beef soup or red pea soup that I wanted but that she didn’t want to ask me again because she didn’t want to make me feel stupid. I said, “excuse me?” Maybe your staff is the one that’s stupid for getting the order incorrect”. She kept talking over me so I stopped talking and let her speak. She stated that 3 of her staff members said that I ordered beef soup. I said I ordered. Red pea soup and a beef patty, maybe that’s where the confusion is.She took the soup from me and walked towards the back of the place and came back out with my original order, A LARGE RED PEA SOUP! Then says again that it was my fault. This is terrible customer service. She thinks that talking down to people is a much better act than coming to a resolution. Going back and forth with a customer trying to prove that she and her staff are right in this situation is inappropriate. She obviously has no manners or home training. Please be careful how you treat people, you can have it today and lose it all tomorrow. Damn ingrate
Today I walked into Royal Caribbean restaurant in Stone Mountain. And they wanted me to wear a mask or if I don’t have one, then I must purchase one to be served. This makes me remember how disrespectful these Chinese people are in Jamaica and now they’re bringing the same attitude to the US. This place that gets 90% of their earning from the Jamaican community shows no respect for us. They are operating on outdated information and an outdated attitude. I will never go back there because this is not the first time that I’ve add issues with them. I hope more and more Jamaicans would post their experiences with them and also that more and more Jamaican Will stop supporting them.
Good food, fast service, friendly staff. Please be courteous and wear a mask while you are in there and don't argue with the staff because if you get any of them sick you are not paying their doctor bills.
You see the flakes? This is what happens when you have REAL JAMAICAN PATTIES!! I didn’t even show all that flakes that were still in the bag?? I’ve been coming here since I was a child and I’ve never been disappointed. The baked goods are too tier
Real Caribbean pastries. Hard dough bread; sugar bun; bun; patties; you name it. Courteous staff and friendly owners.
Good patties! The best in the Atlanta area. They bake the best bread and other Jamaican pastries ?Whenever I'm on this side of town I must stop and grab all my diet doesn't need but fills my heart with joy!
The Patties are delicious , the food is not so much . I had oxtails with white rice and jerk chicken and I was very disappointment. Oxtails were so greasy and no flavor . Jerk chicken was old and you can tell it wasn’t made the same day . Only will return for bakery items
Best patties and rotis in the city. We moved out of Atlanta 3 years ago and we just came back. We are so excited to be going back to this bakery again. The food is consistently good and the service is always reliable and efficient. There's always a line and during covid there's been a line out the door. My wife always tells me that's a good sign if there's a lot of people at a restaurant or cafe. Our fair is the oxtail cuz it's so moist and has a nice gelatinous layer on the outside. My godsons love the jerk chicken and we all love to patties.
