I am giving this honest review because things like this matter. My experience at Popeyes started out grand, the Manager was working with a new hire and was/seemed enthusiastic about the new team member. After congratulating the guy, I ordered My To-go famous Chicken Sandwich. After maybe 4 minutes I opened the bag and took a bite of an old, soggy, chicken sandwich with no crunch at all. It had sat so long when I pulled the bread back, the soggy chicken breading stuck to it. I finished the soggy sandwich at the station.
They're prices were NOT accurate! I ordered a 10 piece family meal which was advertised as 20.99 that would've been a mixed box with 2 large sides. Got to the intercom and they said it was 23.99 but the menu said 20. Whatever I still got it. I ordered Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Got to the window and they said my total was 36 dollars! They charged me 2.50 for a large Mac n cheese which was supposed to be included as a side! Then I get home only to see that BOTH of my sides were HALF FULL as if someone ate it and gave me what was left. I will NEEEEVERRRR go back to the Popeyes off of Mountain Industrial or whatever the street name is. I asked the lady why did they charge me so much and she just kept repeating the amount to pay. She's lucky I didn't give her that same energy back. But if u know what's good for you, you wouldn't give them your service either. The chicken was horrible as well. Cold and hard.
Please be careful about giving them your credit card. My card data was stolen. This is the only place I used my card that was new. It's hard for the bank to determine where my information was stolen. But I wanted to make others aware in case there is a pattern.
My family and I Contracted A Stomach virus after Ordering the Family Meal. I stood by Helpless as My 2yr old Daughter ? in Her SLEEP. After Hours of Violent projectile. She was drained. My Son and I were Sick for 3 days with ? and Diarrhea. Suspect that the food was Not Stored Properly. Or Needed to be Thrown out earlier. This has Changed my Outlook on Fast Food Tremendously.
Yes I want to go pick up food for a small gathering, and I ordered a 16 piece chicken only and a five-piece tender and two apple pies. The one the young man who took my order was very nice and even read my order back to me yet, when my order was packed I got 15 pieces of chicken and instead of a five piece tender I got a five piece chicken box my order was totally messed up and my son could not even have lunch because he doesn't eat chicken off the bone. But all is well, it's still a good Popeyes overall.
This location has begun to disappoint me, either the wait is too long, you get the incorrect pieces of chicken, or something is missing. Last night (12/30/21) after waiting in the line WRAPPING around the front of the building for about 10 minutes, I get maybe 3 car spaces from the "ordering device" and an employee comes out and says, "that's a wrap folks" and indicated that we get out of a line, I guess they were out of food....and this was around 8:30ish. This was the straw for me, going forward I'll either fry my own [email protected] chicken or go to Bojangles.
Took 30mins to get through drive-thru only to be missing a whole chicken sandwich combo meal completely, no napkins, no straws, and no sauces we requested for the chicken fingers.The restaurant was locked with no sign on the street or either door letting anyone know, so many people (including us) kept going to the door just to find it locked over and over again.Replace the management!
Did one of the 12 days of Christmas Specials.Came with:Chicken Sandwich (was cold and bread broke)1/4 lb of popcorn shrimp (old/hard)1 side which I got mac n cheese although they never said it would be an upcharge of 50 cent. But, it was hot and pretty decent and I was quite surprised at that. And luckiky I had a plastic spoon in my car because they sure didnt gice me one.Drink: Sweet Tea which was the best thing of the whole me.I won't be back!
This became my favorite Popeyes locations because of the nice staff and quality chicken but as of yesterday everything went left. The chicken has a burnt grease smell and taste.i think they are not changing the fry oil. I really like the staff there and hope they turn it around, but for now I'm done.
I placed an order for 14 pieces chicken with 2 large sides and 7 biscuits and a 12 piece nugget combo. While waiting for my order, I witnessed a employee pick up fries and place them into a customer's box without gloves. When my husband and I brought this to the manager's attention, she stated, "The employee has to wash her hands every other order. That she would go tell her she needs to put gloves on." To make matters worse the manager allowed the employee to bag the fries as if nothing ever happened. I get home to only have 12 pieces of chicken a large Mac and cheese instead of red beans and rice. The only that was right with the order was the nuggets and fries.
