The people were nice. I would go there with at least one person. Not a big space but the space felt great. The music I loved. Now the food is A1!! I will be back. My grandma had the chicken with cucumbers/onions/tomatoes with Jollaf rice. Our first time and it won’t be my last. She said the meat could be more tender. To me it’s delicious. We both enjoyed our meals.
I’m giving four stars because the food is good but for $25 soup I expected a little bit bigger bowl than what I received? ehhBut let me assure you????????The food is bomb!
Amazing food with amazing service! Everything I ordered was hot and fresh. The servers were patient with newcomers and had obviously built a relationship with previous customers. You can definitely count on me coming back!
I usually have no issues with this place but I literally jus ordered my usual on Uber eats and they gave me nothing but rice AND BONES . Maybe 2 pieces of meat ? Like ?? Idk what happened they used to give fair portions but giving me all rice and bones is really ridiculous no meat at all !! Definitely complained to Uber eats that’s just trifling and for almost 30 dollars you would think you would get your moneys worth such a shame smh
I’m Liberian and have tried a few of their west African dishes. It was great every time. Well seasoned. Good spice. I also really like the crispy plantain. Sometimes its made with a lot of oil and soggy. I wish that was more consistent. Other than that, very good.
They were outstanding! I was in Atlanta for business and my hotel was a bit aways from the restaurant, I was running late and arrived 15 minutes after they closed but they were polite and let me pick up the food with no issues. The place is clean and looks well organized. I ordered the Jollof with lamb and peanut stew with rice and a side of fried plantains. Everything was tasty and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this place for anyone to try ?.
Let me start by saying. I’m not west African but I know good food!! The food here is so AMAZING . I’ve had the cassava leaf, pepper soup, grill lamb, okra sauce, potato leaf stew and grill fish. Literally I kept coming back once a week. I wanted to try everything. Also the ladies always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Even when I don’t know what to try, they give me recommendations.
Absolutely amazing! I had a special time on Saturday with my family. My Daughter enjoyed. Staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. Thank you Neyla for your service!
This food is absolutely ?delicious! My favorite place to go for authentic African cuisine.
The food was good but the reason for my low score is that I ordered take-out 2xs and each time my add-ons was not in there when I returned home. When I arrived to the restaurant my food was wrapped up and packaged ready for pick-up. The first time I ordered pepper soup with three different types of meat to add-on, when arrived home, I had one and barely meat. The second time, I ordered egusi soup with tripe and dry fish. I was going to check the order but again when I arrived it was already bagged and ready. When I arrived home, which is a 20 minute drive, all I had was dry fish - no tripe. Add-ons are not free, so its a disgrace that each time I ordered food that what I paid for was not included. Therefore, I will not EVER do business with this restaurant because they cheat their customers of their hard earned money by not giving them what they pay for.
