Wow the food is incredible. I’m a fried pickle connoisseur and these are top tier, and they give you a massive ranch with it which never happens. I also ordered the tilapia sandwich with garlic potatoes and was absolutely blown away. Best tilapia I’ve had out in a very long time, seasoned perfectly, crispy but yet not over cooked at all. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast to try the shrimp and grits.
who knew that little place on the corner was the hidden gem it turned out to be. I had fried pickles, an excellent Reuben, and the fries were homemade and hot even though my food was delivered to my home. DELICIOUS, huge portions, and marble bread for the Reuben??? OMG! GO! Or at least GrubHub some goodies.
I literally order from this restaurant all the time! The food is always amazing and fresh. I normally get either the blackened chicken fettucine or the spicy lemon pepper wings. Their onion rings are good too! I love this place and it's black-owned so extra points for that!
I have to say this place is such a true treasure. We had past by many times and FINALLY stopped in. So glad we did we had a Philly cheese steak shaved at the time of order beef. So delicious. And the chicken salad croissant was superb! And the prices are so reasonable. Next we are doing the wings!!!! Believe me when I say this is our new favorite place to go!
So my wife and I pulled up to this location and where do I begin. I got the jerk chicken and rice and beans. It was not good at all. Please leave the Caribbean dishes to the Caribbean cooks. The jerk chicken was horrible and the rice and peas my dog wouldn't eat it. On a better note they are apparently better at American dishes. My wife had the ribs mac n cheese and she said it was very good. This isnt to shame nobody but my wife who's also a chef agreed with me on the jerk and rice. It was inedible. However American dish was good apparently. I'm Caribbean and it was a hard no for me, and I was really hoping for it to be good. The raspberry or strawberry sauce you had for the jerk was a hard hard no. You get 3 stars because of my wife's plate.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice quite lunch here. I have to say it was not what we expected, it was absolutely AMAZING. The food was outstanding, this is a restaurant that’s flying under the radar. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food in a friendly environment? We Will Be Back!!!
First time eating with my fam and the everyone was super satisfied with their meal. We got the spaghetti with meat sauce, the Morgan burger and the blackened chicken Alfredo. So delicious! And great portion sizes.
This hidden hole in the wall is really good just like the reviews say. It is clean and the food was freshly made and it was hot. The jerk chicken was serious! The customer service was also top notch.
First time getting food and I will say in half satisfied. I got the appetizer combo with cheese sticks, potato skins and tenders. Let’s talk about who plated the food. No one should ever place a bunch of hot food with cheese together. My mozzarella cheese sticks were broken and stuck to the styrofoam. They cooked my tator skins to death(so hard and dark). Nothing bad to say about tenders. They put all of my sauces in the styrofoam including the sour cream. Sour cream is to be cold but being stuffed inside with hot food it was hot milk. I’ll give the another chance just maybe not with this meal. Picture included is of the tator skin left my puppy didn’t like
Don’t let the lack of reviews fool you, these folks have some of the best food you can get on this side of town. Whether it’s soulfood, Italian, or northern cuisine they have it and it’s good. If I were you I’d definitely give them a try. They’re eating area is always clean and they are great people always nice.
