This was my first time. I ordered through Uber eats. I ordered shrimp meal, catfish, okra and Mac and cheese. The shrimp, and fish were good, but tasted like the grease was old. The fish was also a little salty. Mac and cheese was bland, the okra is good, and the hush puppies tasted burnt. I was disappointed I ask for condiments, and didn't get any... I might try them again.... The prices are good.....
Being pescatarian has me looking for new restaurants to eat. I stumbled upon this one while In Fayetteville pavilion. When I tell you they put their foot, ankle, and knee cap in this food. I ordered the rice bowl with grilled whiting, the young lady taking my order asked if I wanted to add shrimp to it? YES I DO!!! We barely made it out the parking lot before coming back to order more food. If you are ever in the area stop by and give it a try. Also if you get the mild Hawaiian rice bowl get the grilled whiting and add shrimp. You will thank me later
Found this spot while riding thru the Fayetteville Pavilion and decided to stop. This food is delicious. We sat on the patio. And listened to music, enjoyed the scenery and the food. I love everything about this place! I’ll be back.
This was my first time and I was picking up lunch for my daughter and I. We ordered their wings, fried shrimp and catfish. The customer service was amazing, the young man working the register and the cook/owner made sure that I enjoyed my food and dining experience. If you have a problem with your order they will correct it without hesitation and they also have a nice outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air. Next time I plan to try their burger!
Bad food all around. Waited for 10 mins for the place to open & another 35 mins for the food which I was told 15mins. I expected a little wait, but not to receive RAW, subpar, unseasoned and slimy food! It’s a HARD NO for me and I pray they get more help too. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but we definitely had to take all that food back for a REFUND. Like who wouldn’t after waiting almost 50 mins to eat and end up not being able to. Now we have Hangry Headaches and got to explore the plaza to find something to eat. Publix might be the answer.
This was my first time trying this place and it was so good! I loved the baked beans and the fish was well seasoned and not overbearing. The hush puppies were so fresh and perfect. I would of added photos, but forgot and ate everything . Prices were not bad at all. Atmosphere and the staffs energy was a 10. Thank you guys! I will be coming back :)
This place came highly recommended, yet I wasn't super impressed. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is small with no restroom for customers, and limited seating.Although, the portion size was plentiful, the catfish nuggets were tasty, but not delicious. The hushpuppies tasted stale, as if they were prepared the day before. The freshness and quality was a miss. I purchased a slice of cake, which was the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the whitting, to which he said was good. All-in-all, this place was fair. I don't feel like my money was wasted, however I would not be enthusiastic to ever return.
I’ve been living close by for over three years and finally decided to stop into this amazing restaurant. It’s clean and a very friendly atmosphere. The young lady behind the counter is friendly and knowledgeable. Very helpful. The food is AMAZING! Everything made from scratch and fresh. I couldn’t even wait until I got home. Had to get to it right here in the restaurant. They asked what I wanted to watch on TV and came out and thanked me for my business. What a breath of fresh air to walk into an establishment where you’re made to feel like family. I’ll be back soon. Oh! And I’ll also be checking out there Fayetteville location. You should too!
I went to Jens to give them a try they didn’t put my onion rings I ordered in my plate I didn’t check bc it was a 35 minute wait and it was limited space also the chicken wings I ordered fried hard were not done completely and then the cashier snapped at the cook when a customer order was ready and she told the cook you didn’t say order up !!!! I will not be revisiting this place at all ..,.first presentation is everything to me no recommendation from me 2 out of 5 stars !!!!!!!!
