The food was good honestly. The service from the waitress(named Maya) could have been much better. It was as if she was at first not wanting to serve me and friend. Quick responses were given at first when asked about the menu. A smile was no where in sight. I was unsure then if I wanted to order. Although, later on she started to be more friendly and show good true customer service near the end. I as well as my friend did tip the waitress. We just desire good service. I'm not opposed to returning to Frontera. I just want good service. I come to eat and fellowship with my friend (s), but bad service or just ok service is not acceptable.
Yesterday was our 1st time here and looking at the reviews before hand made me a little skeptical. We still went because my boyfriends son wanted Mexican lol. We were greeted upon entry and immediately seated. They brought out chips and salsa immediately. Our waitress came we ordered food and his son wanted a cheese dip too. The cheese dip came immediately with our drinks. The dip texture could have been a little different it hardened rather fast. Otherwise it was fine maybe a little more flavor as well. We ordered a kids burrito plate, carnitas and a crazy taco. He had no complaints about his kids burrito and loved the rice. The carnitas were good no complaints. The crazy taco was good was just a little more seasoning perhaps on the beef in my opinion. Otherwise we had a nice experience and will definitely be back and the prices were reasonable as well.
It was nice and the food was good. They did not have carbonation for soda, so I ordered a medium blended margarita (not top shelf) and it was $15! Maybe thats normal now??? But I was a bit shocked. I would go again, but would not order a mixed drink again.
I could not decide whether to give them a 2 or 3 star. First time trying their food, and we did an online order on their website for pickup. The pickup time was 7:20 PM and I got there exactly at 7:20 PM only to find myself sitting there for 25 mins, watching people after me pickup their food. I don't think I have ever waiting that long to pickup a scheduled order. So the food itself was alright. My fiancé bad the burrito and enchilada combo and the chicken was dry. We also didn't expect it to be smothered. I got the vampiro tacos. There were not bad. Too much tortilla for me though. Each taco had 2 tortillas. My daughter did not eat her nachos but my son tore up his mini pizza. Not authentic but it was alright. May possibly get again but not sure at this moment.
Good food quest was great. Grilled chicken in the taco salad was poor choice. Co worker got beef and was almost 4 times more meat. Sweet tea was good.
Great service and great food...Have been coming here for several years now at least once a week and it is always good...
I really like this place. I frequently visit. They give a lot of food. It's delicious and affordable. The staff is pretty friendly. I really like this place. More food than Chipotle, tastes better too. I hope they stay the same. I debated between 4 or 5 stars. The food comes out hot and fast too.
Let me start by saying I love Mexican food and eat it at a lot of restaurants across the country. I have eaten outstanding meals and really poor ones. This one unfortunately ranks amongst the bottom. Was it edible? Yes, was it good ? Not in my opinion. If you like really bland food you are in luck. I has the brisket chimichanga, it was good but no flavor. I also ordered soft tacos and I can honestly say the Taco Bell has better tacos.
My husband and I have always enjoyed Frontera`s in Stockbridge. The salsa and chips were always great, clunky, and different. At this visit, we found the salsa recipe had changed. Inflation has hit the prices,but I found the food bland. Waitress was prompt and pleasant. The location was very clean. I don't know why we always are seated with a view of the kitchen, the second worse location. It will be a while before we go back
Edgar makes the best pomegranate margarita?!! His customer service is a-1every time serves us! He also super friendly ?….The food is good as well!
