June 6, 2022 11:09pm 2 guest.Picked up my friend from the airport it was late we wanted to go to O'Charlies but because of the hour in the night we went to Applebee's.Our wait time I'd say was around 10 mins or less but can I tell you can the host walk a little bit more slowly... sshheww!?My friend ordered the chicken w/ no mushrooms no onions...guess what she got, yes thats right...she had to send it back and ordered something else, her entree looked nothing like what's on the menu.Mean while I'm eating my burger while she waits for her 2nd order. I specifically requested extra onion fresh tomato and lettuce. My mistake for thinking I would get a clean full slice of onion no I got one ring from the slice of onion surprisedly disappointing! I watched this server write down our order I would think this order was communicated to the cook?How many restaurants use ice berg lettuce for burgers? Just plain cheap!While waiting and eating I witnessed say 7 ppl. walk out because they were waiting too long for the hostess to appear....can this guy walk any slower...bless his heart.Overall....not happy...how many restaurants can mess up a burger and a entree Folks!Lots of restaurants can screw up a burger! We would have gone to O'Charleys! Sorry no picture.
Our waitress was great, the food was good, (a tad bit cold, but still good), our drinks were good. Overall the service was decent. However the idiot at the door, I don't know what to refer to her position......she was beyond horrible. There were 3 large adults in our party, one toddler and a 12 yr. old. This idiot tried to seat us at a booth. She was just ridiculous ?. We then asked someone else to seat us at a table, where we would have more room, and be comfortable. She granted our request with no problem. The other girl then showed her stupidity again. Apparently her Manager informed her there was another group of people coming in, so she needed to put some tables together. Well, as patrons are sitting and enjoying their meals, she's slamming tables and chairs around like a complete maniac. It was awful. She was just out of line in every way. If you didn't want to work that day, stay home. But don't make things miserable for everyone else. Outside of her, like I said Applebees was decent for a little lunch/dinner get to together.
Went to Applebee's on Saturday and when I arrived, there was a party of 6 waiting on the sitting bench they have... So I stood there with my son, for about 15 minutes with about 4 waitresses just standing there passing me by and chatting with each other. Finally went to one of them and asked "excuse me, do we seat ourselves?" She answered the host was on his way. He arrived moments later only to tell us that it was a 45 minute wait for 2 people. There were literally only about 8 tables occupied in the restaurant and all of them are just standing there..along with what I believe was a manager sitting and chatting at a table. They proceeded to say they were short staffed, which was not believable because literally they were just standing around not doing anything. So, I'm no savvy restaurant owner or manager but you would think that if they are short staffed in the kitchen, one or a couple of these employees can move to the back to help with prep stuff or dishes ..I am not sure... But if I was running the restaurant, I as the manager would make sure that first patrons of the facility are not ignored and second that every employee is making use of their clocked in time. We left, but literally the is just no excuse for lack of proper customer service. At least acknowledge the customer.
Placed a takeout order and was told a pickup time. Arrived and then had to wait an additional 20 mins for the order. When politely asked if food was going to be ready soon (as it was quite late and the restaurant was basically empty, was treated rudely by an employee. Finally got food and left. Unfortunately got back to our hotel and order was incorrect and food wasn’t hot. Have been trying to get in touch with upper management, who apparently is the only one that can help, yet will not call back and hasn’t responded to any messages for over 1 1/2 weeks.
They were awesome. The staff was unbelievable, they backed each other up and they were very professional. I definitely giving management there props, i didn't see them but they have these restaurant running on all cylinders. Awesome job.
Our server was great but the cooks was the worst. That I've ever had and in all of the 20 plus Year's that i am going there. They couldn't cook a steak i had to send it back. The server stated that she had sent back 5 steaks back. I love you'll steaks
I placed a curbside pick up order. I love the requested heated pecan blondie, extra pecans on the side, ice cream on the side, and no icing, nor caramel topping. Pecan Blondie Brownie was cold as ice. I had to return. I asked for the Brownie to be heated. Server replied, "We do not heat the brownies anymore because it will be cold when you get home." What. Ma'am im eating this now. Ugh. Do better
So we came here for Valentine's Day and what we got compared to what we were supposed to get is just absurd. We came here because we liked their food and service and there was a 15 minutes wait which we understood because of the day we had came, but to see the plates how we got our food that it was NOT how it was advertised or how it was on the menu were so different. My husband and I were so disappointed. My husband, our son and I will not come here anymore. Ohh and apparently their excuse was that there wasn't anymore cleaned plates they use for the food we had ordered.
I came in with my young daughter and the music ,whomever was in charge of playing, had cuss words throughout the song, so I told the hostess that she needed to change the music because it was VERY inappropriate for a FAMILY establishment. She went and talked to two people and whomever it was put it on another song that was a little less but STILL just wrong. Ya'll!!! Get your act together! If you want to listen music with "choice words" in it.... BRING EAR PODS. Be courteous to your patrons. Oh, and yes.... I have worked in the food industry.
I'll say this, don't get a top shelf long Island because it's not top shelf... Fries were cold.. Get that bartender from late Saturday night 1.15.22 some help... Please..
