Every time I go here there seems to be an issue. The food is good but the service is TERRIBLE. They always get my order wrong & then have an attitude when I want it fixed or a refund. I would seriously consider getting a new staff if I were the owner. There were people pulling out of line without their food because the line takes so long (& this is every time it seems like). & it's drive-thru only. By the time you wait 20 minutes to order breakfast they say "we're not serving breakfast anymore." Today was the last straw & I'll be finding somewhere else for breakfast.
DO NOT USE the drive thru!! Sat for 20min & no one asked for our order so we pulled up 2 the window 2 B told we HAD 2 drive back around & we explained that no one asked 2 take our order. But she was sorry… but- we had 2 pull back around n order 2 place r order! What a joke! Again the customers fault that their employees can’t do their job! Sad! So go 2 Bites just a few miles down the road… well worth it!!!
I had to give Shugs a break for a while because I wasn't pleased with the quality of my order.Out the blue I had a craving and I went and man was I in heaven. Fresh fries, chicken tenders was excellent.So kudos yall did that.
Good food. We shared the sampler platter and based on the pricing thought it would be big enough for two,and it wasn't super small but could have been a little bigger. It was good food though. Service was decent but nothing over the top.
Like the food here overall.. especially the 2 for $4 chicken biscuits. The chicken fingers plates in my opinion are a little pricey here compared to others. Overall a decent fastfood location around town.
My husband vringd me here whenever we're in town. Good southern fried chicken. Potatoe.wedges are super dry and chicken was kind warm. But overall butter than chain restaurants
Chicken was dry, they didn't have items clearly stated on the menu, and I had to go back for ketchup when I had ordered 3 large fries
Malayia C, is the reason I will not be returning. I’ve never had a bad experience here but she changed that today. Never asked what type of chicken I wanted ie “dark or light meat”, just stated “pull up” after I placed my order. She was equally unpleasant at the window as she was over the speaker. Never again! I speak so high regarding the staff and the hiring process just to be disappointed today. Fire her or retrain her! Or I can assure you I won’t be the last complaint review regarding her.
I have been going to Uncle Shugs for years and it is always my tailgate staple for chicken fingers. I am thinking I now have to change. The last two tailgates I have called the day before to place order. It has never been ready when I got there and the staff did not seem to care at all. Yesterday I got to the tailgate and my order was short 10 fingers, no dipping sauce and no rolls. I like to support local, but that is a lot of money to spend and not get what I paid for at least. I sure hope the owner will get this place working better because the food is good.
It was very good, cooked crispy like I like it, it was done like I like it, very picky about my fried chicken, but they do a good job. Biscuits are awesome, so is coleslaw, oh and yes can't forget the great mashed potatoes and gravy. Yum,Yum, good eating.
