The 5 Flavor chicken and Ma Po Tofu w/ Pork were delicious. The portions were large and the staff was friendly. Definitely will return.

My favorite Chinese food in Statesboro. The five flavor, general TSO, and dumplings are wonderful. The lunch specials are affordable and come with plenty of food.
I grew up in Statesboro and used to eat here when it was located in the old shopping center beside Moe's. I recently came back in town and saw they moved to the old Taco Bell. The food is great. I always get the sesame chicken. The lady that works there is extremely friendly.
I visited there today and my food wasn't great at all. I was very disappointed, the food smelled great, but when I opened the box it wasn't good at all , let's just say it changed my entire appetite.
Honey!!!! When I tell you they are my go to people they are the only place ill eat Chinese from. I've tired others in the area they are normally dry, don't fix it right, or just plain nasty. Not here!! It doesn't matter the time my food is always tasty and the staff is super friendly. Call in your order to save time since they don't have an actual drive thru and you'll have to wait. I generally go several times a month just to try different things so far its the teriyaki chicken with extra sauce and rice with no veggies if you needed to try something.
so delicious! we got takeout and it could not have tasted better. we were treated so well and the prices were fantastic for the quality of the food. if i could give southern palace 6 stars i would!
My daughter loves this place, so we have it often and it’s always good. They see her so much that she gets prizes and enjoys that too!
Southern Palace is by far the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. While their appearance is questionable, I have not a single bad thing to say about their service or food. I have since moved from statesboro and have had Chinese food from 3 different places and it is nothing compared to the greatness of Southern Palace. Highly recommend their spring rolls, wonton soup, dumplings (steamed), and lo mein.
