Ok. I just got back from my 4th visit.I am always impressed! I am being completely serious too. Why? Because I can get a "small" low country boil and eat it for two days and feel like it was money well spent. The staff have been really cool too. I happen to work at a restaurant nearby so I understand their job is not easy but they took the time to answer any questions I had. I'm mostly new to seafood so the patience is appreciated. This place has become one of my favorites here in Statesboro, and I strongly recommend trying them if you haven't already. Thanks guys!
I ordered a small Lowcountry Boil for dinner at Southern Crab House. It was a delicious huge serving even for a small. This is a take out place (no dining in) that serves seafood you need to work to eat like crab legs or shrimp with the legs on, so I would only recommend this place if you’re a local or a traveler who really wants seafood and is prepared to eat it.
Always a pleasure. Stop by every time I'm in town. Prices have gone up a bit but I understand.
Nice attendants! Explained what I wanted and was very satisfied ?
This place has never let me down!! When im in the area i know where to go get conch, garlic crabs, and shrimp!!!! They have the hot sauce and garlic butter too!!!!
It was a little pricey, but thats expected for seafood or anything else these days. It was also well worth it for the freshness and the amount of food you get. I'll definitely be back.
We purchased Oysters in the shell there like a week ago supposingly a Bushel, paid almost $80 for a small box of non salted oysters. They were HORRIBLE!!!! I advise you not to use them for Oysters these people are not fair at all.
They were very friendly and helpful when it came to us not being sure of how much shrimp we needed for 25 to 30 people
Wasn't the kind of seafood spot I would eat at. Definitely not a Red Lobster.
Everytime when I come home I have to have a low country boil and I get one to take back home to Valdosta Ga.
