They close during their summer posted hours on Sat 8/6 and when I called the girl hung up on me when I was asking when they were open. If they want to do shorter hours then post it so you don't waste peoples time and gas.
Best wood smoked BBQ in the state, cooked by one of the best pit masters in the state of Georgia!! My favorite is the brisket sandwich.
Picked up DW a brisket sandwich. Folks were very friendly as always. I love the new enclosed porch and additional seating. Will return and dine in with DW next time.
After 5 years in Statesboro this is hands down the best food I ever had here. The staff was nice and polite, the vibes were good, a nice local spot and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING it’s def worth the drive. The brisket and brunt ends, Mac and bake beans was delicious every single bite. I will for sure come back and bring others with me. Thank you for the wonderful experience it was GOOD.
We try to stop at every BBQ place we can find. Thankful to find this one! It is the ONE!! try it you will not like it- you will LOVE it! The chicken and pork were delish but that Brunswick stew was a star!
This is the closest that I have had to Texas quality brisket outside of Texas. You can tell that they are proud of their craft and desire to have the best.
At almost 40, I've come to realize... I don't care for a fancy restaurant store front. Give me a roadside BBQ joint, with real people, fair prices, and hands down the BEST BBQ I've ever had in my life.I have traveled far and wide in my years trying BBQ. I can't express enough how good this place is. I've have made several visits, this was my coworkers first time. It is May 26th, 2022 2:30 in the afternoon as I write this. We just left from having lunch. I know I tell yall everytime, and just told you 10 minutes ago... But once again, THANK YALL FOR LUNCH! See yall next time
OMG!! Delicious hole in the wall. Don't walk, run here! All of the food was reasonably priced with large portions. I'm driving back out right now to buy more ??
Great food, good service, clean restaurant with a drive thru window. Just place your order online or via telephone before you arrive if picking up, and you will be pleased. Lots of great sides to choose from and always ask about the special.
