Fried Pickles, great hamburgers, excellent fries
I decided to try Gnat's Landing because it has pretty good ratings. It's a "sound lively" place but not annoying. I was promptly seated and my server was right there within a minute or two. I had the fried shrimp and fried oyster platter with a side salad and fries. The salad was crisp and cold and the dressing was adequate. While the shrimp and oysters tasted pretty good, I have a feeling that they were not cooked to order as the crust on both were a bit soggy. The beer...ahh....cold and refreshing. I'll go back, though
My youngest daughter took me here for Mother's day.We waited about 6 minutes for a table.We ordered, we got our appetizer within 10 minutes it seems like our food was done.The food was excellent, the waitress was excellent. I don't remember her name. She came to our table a few times to see if we needed anything.We sat outside since it was cooler out today.It was my first time there.
I didn’t know how this was possible but I’m pretty sure I just had the best experience at a restaurant in my life, and I’m 28 so.. flip side, Savannah has astounding bartending and people skills, Angel is impressive as it gets with handling any customer, whatever the situation may be, Hannah somehow knew to check in on me while I was on my last shot. We love this restaurant. All of the servers are young college kids, but they're well trained and service is always great. The food is always excellent and the drinks are strong.
I had a great experience with friends that came into town. Our waiter was friendly and ensured we were taken care of throughout the entire time. The chef was doing an amazing job as well.
My first time coming here was March 27, 2022 @10pm to dine in. There were sooo many people. I ordered a fried shrimp wrap with fries. The wrap was small tightly wrap with very little fries but I assume that was due to the fact they were doing last calls because the kitchen was closing. It was surprisingly good.March 28, 2022 @3-4pmI decided to place an order for pick up.I ordered the shrimp wrap with seasoned fries again but with spinach dip this time. The wrap was larger this time with more fries. I thought oh nice but every thing was greasy...It was not good like it was last night. It was disappointing and sickening.
Awesome staff, awesome food, large variety of menu items!! Great atmosphere. Fun and delicious for the entire family. The shrimp and grits are amazing and the fried shrimp poboy is also fantastic. And the chicken fingers are great!

Nice place for a beer or meal. Good fried pickles. Nice outdoor seating, as well. Very busy on a Friday night, but staff and management were attentive.
