Spent the night in Statesboro on our way passing through to visit family and decided to have dinner at El Jalapeno.We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. From the fresh crunchy chips and flavorful salsa to the Texas Fajitas for two! Delicious and had so much steak, chicken and shrimp in it we were very impressed with the amount of meat in this tasty plentiful dish! The shrimp are my favorite and they were cooked perfectly! We'll definitely stop and dine here again next time we pass through!! Our server was pretty awesome too!! Thanks for the very enjoyable meal! Five stars!!
Service was great. Better than average happy hour margarita. Food is kind of your basic Americanized Mexican, and I'm not saying that is a bad thing! Would definitely eat there again.
The service was good that we got here. Having said that the food we got left a lot to desire and the restaurant itself needs some TLC. The windows we sat beside looked like they leak anytime it rains, so that leaves me to wonder how much mold is present.I would not recommend this place.
This is the real deal. We had dinner, I was introduced to the owner. Super cool. Best genuine Mexican food in the Statesboro/Savannah area.
We don't go often but we had a guest preacher at our church a few weeks ago and we all decided to go out to eat but it was late so we came here and the staff was very kind and patient with us coming so close to closing. We very much appreciate them. We try not to be those people that come late. We made sure to tip well and recommend them to as many people as we can. The food was great and staff was great.
This was my first time there but it will definitely not be my last. The food was plentiful and our waitress Maggie took great care of us while we sat on the patio and the drinks were nice?
This place was definitely a disappointment for me. I came here for my birthday and was expecting it to be really great based off other reviews and pictures but nope I was wrong. The food was tasteless I had to add salt to everything. I won’t be coming back to give them a second chance because it was that bad. The only thing that was good was the icecream lol.
Best chips...HANDS DOWN. My favorite thing to get is rice with grilled chicken with queso on it. I love the atmosphere there. Some of the best kids working there. Best jukebox...great bar.
0/10 don’t recommend. One of their workers went off with my money. I did a split payment and he still fully charged my card even with the cash I gave him. I confronted the owner and nothing was resolved. I even told him to check the cameras he lied and said, “we don’t have any cameras.” I’ll see you in court!
They have the best margaritas ?.....
