I have ordered food from Dolan's a number of times since the restaurant opened. I have witnessed the inconsistency of the quality of the food. Today I ordered a half rack of ribs and was told by the young lady taking my order by phone that it came with two sides. I decided on potato salad and baked beans. Also ordered a medium tea. I picked up the order from the drive thru. The total was $15.00 + I gave a $2.00 tip and paid by card. When I picked up the plate, which was in a bag and tied on top, I thought the plate felt really light. When I got home and looked at the plate, there were 3 ribs and about 2 tablespoons of potato salad and beans along with 2 slices of bread. Not a half rack of ribs that I ordered.
Never thought I'd order a bologna sandwich in a restaurant, but their thick smoked bologna is fantastic! Husband had the pulled pork sandwich, which is always yummy. This location also has covered outdoor seating, live music, and a bar. Love it!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Dolan’s! We love Dolan’s for adate night spot with great drinks and live music. And we love to bring our kids to sit outside on the patio. The BBQ is made fresh daily and I always look forward to their daily specials!! Their owner is so sweet and creative and the service is fast!
LOVED LOVED LOVED! My boyfriend and I came last night & were so surprised by the prices, food, and interior! Everything was perfect. The employees were sweet & efficient. I cannot wait to bring my parents when they come back in town, it is definitely right up their alley! Also, love the Masters theme this week (AUG native). 10/10, one of the best places in statesboro.

Like now!I really thought having lived in Memphis and traveling the South like I have, I'd eaten at all the really good barbecue places, but I will publicly admit here and now that I was wrong.THIS -- this Dolan's place -- is a must stop for a foodie of any sort and BBQ junkie whether they pray to the pig or the chicken.The service is fast (my order was at my table in about 5 minutes), and the prices are fair ($8 for the daily special and $12 for my rib/chicken/chopped sampler).The local food takeaway section they have is impressive (check out the different pimento cheeses), and the bar is well stocked if you want to que there.Dolan's deserves extra culinary kudos for its sauces. Most "homemade" sauces that BBQ joints serve can be over the top in one way or another -- too hot, too vinegary, too this or this -- but the Sisters White, Seven Oaks Mustard, and Grape Vine Road Red are hands-down the best trio of BBQ sauces you'll find 'round these parts.If you're coming to Statesboro, Dolan's is worthy of your presence. Bring lots of napkins and an empty tummy because your love for food is about to get gooey good and plenty, too.

Food is amazing!! I was performing live music and came early to eat lunch. The Brunswick Stew was some of the best I’ve had.If you love BBQ then you will enjoy Dolan’s BBQ
I’ve been to Dolan’s a few times and the best description I can find is inconsistent. There are times when it’s great and times when it’s just average. The meat is either extremely moist or extremely dry. It may because the place is new, but you never really know what you’re going to get. Hope they get this straightened out soon.
Everyone complaining about them being out of certain items is ridiculous to me. This is a true barbecue restaurant that makes fresh food on a daily basis, they cook what they think is going to be enough for the day and when it’s gone, it’s gone. I’d rather them tell me they’ve sold out than sacrifice quality by offering reheated frozen food.Best pulled pork in the area, let alone Statesboro.
The food was decent, I got the small sampler for $12+ had a great smoke taste to it, rib was delighted. The place was crowded and could count on 1 hand how many staff wore mask. Also saw staff members playing in their hair, turn around and touch food bags. It'll be awhile before I return but I did enjoy my sampler.
