Dirty! The back lip of the hibachi grill had what looked like a very gross looking buildup of food from previous meals. The chef proceeded to cook our food on the dirty grill. I carefully watched him clean the table after he was done cooking and he did not attempt to clean that part of the grill. I didn't want to say anything and ruin our celebration but... gross! I really hope that buildup was just from the day but it looked like it could have been there for a long time. Looking around where the chef stands was dirty too, like years of grease and grime all over everything dirty.

Good food and great service . We really enjoyed our first experience and definitely will be back thanks

Wow, I am visiting Atlanta as I use to live here back in 2014. I use to work at the Petsmart near this restaurant during school and I would always go in to eat fried rice, volcano roll and a crab cake. Here it is 2022 as I have come to visit and rushed to this restaurant “excited to see they were still open”. I ordered my usual and to my pleasure I must say they haven’t lost their touch. The food is still amazing. The taste and flavor is still the same; excellent!!! If you order a shrimp fried rice you will be shocked how much of that heaven they give you. I work in the restaurant industry as I now manage dining venues. I can tell that the kitchen ensures recipes are thoroughly followed and the company is making sure satisfaction is being met. Well done!!!

This is the first hibachi place I’ve been to where I didn’t leave with alot left overs. Small plate . He literally split the scallops in half. Friendly staff but I think pricing needs to reflect the plate size

We got put out after the manager yelled at us when we asked him to stop yelling and putting his hands in our faces. He was confused and arguing about who needed to get seated first. Sadly it appeared it was only the people of color who the manager wasn’t seating. I would not recommend.

I find it strange this place has great reviews, this is the worst hibachi spot I've ever been to. I have not tried the sushi so I won't give it one star, but from what I've seen I wouldn't want to give it another chance. The service was extremely slow, waited 40+ minutes with only 7 other customers in the place. Hibachi chef was talking about alcohol is the devil for some reason. Steak was oddly bland and low quality. Shrimp and fried rice were ok. They add on their own tip to the receipt instead of taking cash or you writing your own. $32 is WAY too much for how little food you get in comparison to sakegura and other hibachi.

The sushi was very good. The rolls seamed to be larger than some places. Volcano, California, spicy tuna, scorpion rolls were all very good.Large portions for miso soup.

This place never seems to fail me. I was able to request my favorite server Arcie. He is fun, full of joy and always makes your visit pleasant. I use to live here and moved back to VA. Now I visit Yakiniku whenever I'm in town. Always good food and service. Plus we ordered to go to take back to VA tomorrow. Thank you Arcie

We have been here at least 10 times in the last few months, but I hace noticed that either the customer service is getting worse, or they are taking customers for granted and don't feel like they need to have anything as simple as respect for the patrons that come there. The only lady who seems to actually care about anything is the one who is about 5'9 with a "blonde bob cut "hairstyle. The rest of the ladies are the reason why I feel a negative review is warranted. The food is good, but not good enough to tolerate the attitude we get lately. My go to hibachi spot is Nagoya in Covington, but I know for sure I won't be visiting Yakiniku going forward unfortunately.

An experience! Good food and a great place to experience traditional Japanese cooking. Bring some friends.
