Edited to give them 5 stars. Tried dine in 6/12/22. Staff was great, pizza was better than my carry out one...which confirms they did make it early and it sat out before I got there. But my dine in experience was 5 stars. If I ever do take out, I'm going to head straight there so I don't risk them making it early and it sitting. Definitely better for dine in! Hopefully they'll not make carry out orders too early anymore!6/10/22-Take out experience, 4 stars: While it wasn't the best mellow mushroom pizza I've had, it was good. Pretzels and cheese were good. Wish MM wasn't soo expensive and that cheese came either with the pretzels or that they had a half order of bites! Not the stores fault, but I'd have it more often if those were offered and it was cheaper. $13 for a 10" is crazy!Again, not the best made MM pizza I've had, but not the worse. Decent and quick curbside service. Not sure if it was just made early and sat out or if it's normally like this though. Will have to give dine in a try one day.
Most excellent pizza! Imagine Bill and Ted playing their air guitars while saying that. ?Like everything else, their prices have gone up, but I haven't found a better pizza around! But again, Pizza is like beer. When beer is good, it's really dang good, but when beer is bad, it's still pretty good.
We came to eat here at 5pm on a Saturday. Was directed by there sign to text them for a dine in Dinner. Texted as directed, waited, went in to use restroom, was then told, after waiting 20 minutes, that the are closed to dine in after 4pm, because of staffing issues. I love this place, I'm officially canceling this place off NY go to for pizza, what a shame!
I haven't ordered anything that was short of delectable, but I am admittedly totally smitten with their Holy Shiitake Mushroom pizza (I sometimes add spinach or ground beef if I want to jazz it up a bit). While it may seem like a minor detail to the unaware observer, the garlic aioli swirl they meticulously finish with takes the flavor of this already amazingly delicious pizza to another dimension of deliciousness.
+One Star: the staff is very friendly. +Two Star: the environment was calm and pleasant. P+Three Star: the Cloud 9 wings were AMAZING!-One Star: Not a fan of the text us when you get here to pay is money for food. But that is what it is. -Star Two: Their sauce is way too bland for me.
This is Mellow Mushroom ! We had to text (not call) to be seated. After 20 minutes no response. We left only to get a text later in another restaurant. They have warning signs on the windows. Don't walk in , text , do not call ! This place beggs not to have business.
The food was delicious the building was very rundown. They have some very weird requirements you must text a number from the parking lot (large parts of which is blocked off) And for dine in they had us wait an hour with no confirmation...I thought maybe COVID-19 restrictions but no employees were in masks... Very frustrating.
Called ahead of time because we wanted dine in. Said okay and when we got there had closed for dine in less than 30 minutes before due to lack of staff. One of our party visiting from Utah and MM was what she wanted.
I had not had Mellow Mushroom since 1994 I was expecting my son. It has changed a little since, in which everything has changed throughout the years. It was very good. I am glad I decided to start back eating their Pizza. My son will love it he loves Pizza still.
My husband is new to the Vegan family. We were looking for vegan friendly food choices and Mellow Mushroom was one of the top. We tried the Vegan Veggie Pizza. It was good and the service was fast. Definitely going back to try other pizzas. I'm not a Vegan so I'm eager to try some of their other pies.
