I recently moved to Smyrna from SW Atlanta and drove past Zeke's and thought to myself "I gotta look this place up". When I saw that it was a Haitian restaurant I got excited. I am a New Yorker and I love Caribbean food. I'm also very familiar with Haitian food. The reviews were great so I was like "bet!". I literally went the very next day and the food is DELICIOUS, the service is great, the venue itself is nice, and the prices are more than reasonable. I ordered the plantain nachos as an appetizer and yum! The jerk chicken on the nachos was MUCH better than the jerk chicken I got from a local Jamaican restaurant that shall remain nameless! I ordered the cabrit as an entree and it was plentiful! The cabrit (goat) was well-seasoned and tender. Soooo good! I highly recommend Zeke's and plan to go back VERY soon...only this time I'm taking friends there with me!
If you don't like alot of flavor, go elsewhere. I've been twice now and the flavor and prep are consistent. The staff is attentive and the establishment is welcoming and clean. I happy to now have a Haitian spot to recommend to friends and family. The steak and yucca is my favorite. Also, this is the only spot that I've been to that adds seasoning to their yucca fries which are really good.
Amazing food and ambiance. Our server was so nice and informed us of the menu highlights. Everything from the appetizers to the cocktails, right down to the entrees = 5 stars. My steak was perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back!
I didn’t take the best pictures but I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered Togo but had a drink (RumARita) while I waited. The customer service was great, my drink was delicious. The Rasta pasta was REALLY good. It was flavorful with a slight kick and was filled with really good chicken and large shrimp. My picture is not stirred but I assure you the pasta is a HIT. I also had the conch fritters, the aioli was good but the conch was fritters were not my thing and that’s okay. I will definitely be visiting again to work my way through the menu and drink options. 10/10- I do recommend.
This was our 1st time at this restaurant. We dined in for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The inside is modern and clean. The staff greeted us immediately. Service was great, never let my water get to low, and great selections on the menu. Our food was delicious!!! Great taste and nice portion sizes. They had a drink menu but I didn't try any (next time I will). I definitely recommend.
The menu sounded good. I was excited. I ordered carry out. When we got there they couldn't find our order. Then when I got home the salad was dry and there wasn't any dressing. My goat was more like jerky. And my ice cream was melted with plastic wrap instead of a lid so it was spilling over through the sides. The oxtail was good. Not worth $60
Good Experience. First timers. My son had been and talked about the fact that the food was good and Hubs wanted something other than burgers, seafood, Mexican, wings. Staff wad really nice. Our waitress was being trained so she was tag teaming with another server which was great. The Blue Hatian drink was really tasty. Hubs has the Oxtails and as you can see you get quite a few. I had the Djon Djon bowl no pickliz (cause I can't do spicy) with blackened salmon. It was really filling and very flavorful. Oxtail were kicked up with jerk seasonings. Atmosphere was cool. Nothing against the restaurant but there were patrons that rook a phone call and had it on speaker. I hate that snd do think restaurants might need to start asking those guests not to do that cause it's very rude.We will definitely go back. Very welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish.
This restaurant exceeded my low expectations due to seeing multiple moun blan upon walking in. For fellow Ayisen, have an open mind because the cuisine served here is not your standard Haitian fare. Everything we ordered was excellent minus the rice and beans and a strawberry mocktail. The owner came around to make sure we were enjoying the food. We mentioned the mocktail being okay and he went to the back to get a new one and it was perfect! Should’ve mentioned and the rice and I’m sure he would’ve done the same. This is easily going to become one of my new faves. Thank god I don’t live nearby, otherwise they would be getting all of my money!
Wonderful dining experience all around! From William’s service in taking care of us, to the short periods of time between ordering and our food/drinks being brought to the table, to the flavors of the dishes. The plantain nachos, Rasta pasta, Djon Djon bowl, and blueberry cheesecake were all so delicious!
