Okay , service was good. Sushi came out after our food. I’m not a huge fan of the menu just okay overall.
I forgot to take a picture of the avocado touch sushi roll because it’s so good I eat it up immediately, the korean fried chicken is yummy and really filling/ good to share and my husband gets the katsu curry ramen every time. I recommend yakitori to all my friends. Their miso soup is so good too as a side and a nice amount for the price. Sometimes the wait is long but it’s always worth it, never been disappointed
Came for the ramen, was a bit disappointed with what I got. I got the tonkotsu with extra egg and found it to be quite lacking. The broth flavor was okay initially, but one thing I’ve never had in my ramen is green cabbage and I can say that it’s a mistake to include it. By the time I got halfway through the bowl everything just tasted like cabbage broth. My daughter enjoyed her gyoza, and my salmon and scallop nigiri were quite good so that was nice.I will say the service was great, very friendly and attentive. If I do come back maybe I’ll just stick to sushi.
We came here twice. First time due to having friends in town and in need of a sushi place that is close by.Second time came back to check for consistency. Both times the sushi was great. Ordered tonkatsu and katsue curry noodles and they both were a bit salty at each visit. The Korean chicken and chili wings were average and nothing to brag to mama about. Service was mediocre at both visits. Overall, we came here for the sushi and it worked out great. Prices are expected during this high inflationary period.
Top notch. Best ramen I've ever had and my wife said best sushi she'd ever had too and she is very picky. Kind of a hole in the wall but they make it feel very personal and the service is wonderful. Also there's a painting of Naruto in the wall so.
Got my usual ramen (which is always on point)? and tried the tropical salad? I can't remember the exact name lol! The look of salad was NOT what I was expecting, HOWEVER, I didn't expect it to be as delicious as it was. Honestly, I don't know what i was expecting, but I digress..??♀️The fish was fresh and the salad had a light citrus tone to it, and the microgreens just made it lovely I will say, if you have texture issues with your food, then this might not be the salad for you, though.Glad I took a chance and tried something different, would definitely order during the warmer months. Ramen is ALWAYS good, I miss the enoki mushrooms, though. They're no longer on the menu??
I recently tried their deluxe sushi dinner. It only came with eight pieces of sushi-that is it. No sushi rolls on the side, no miso soup, and no salad.Quality of sushi is not bad but definitely not the best. And for the price they charged it should be much better. For the price they charged there are definitely much better options in Atlanta area, although not that many sadly. As for the service, we had a male server. He never came back to check on our food or ask for any refills over green tea or water. In the food was brought out by his co-worker. Definitely a failure. I still give him 15% tip but he actually deserves less than 5%. Will never return here again.
Worth the wait!! Everything was so fresh and delicious! The Katsudon is the most authentic I’ve had in Atlanta!
I saw this ramen spot on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives a few years ago and was excited at the opportunity to stop in. I love ramen! The place in not spacious, but they are extremely busy! We had to wait about thirty minutes, but it was worth the wait! We were seated in front of the sushi chefs and we got a fantastic show! It is amazing the works of art they created. We opted to for go sushi, this time, but to get ramen. It was fantastic! Rich broth is the base for ramen and it is smooth and full of flavor! There are a few options. I ordered the spicy cabbage and pork ramen. There are several extras you can add. I am looking forward to the next time I can pay Jinbei a visit!
What an experience!!! I was really surprised to find such a delicious sushi/ramen spot in Smyrna for date night with my boyfriend. Our server Joey was very kind and attentive. We were given recommendations by Chef Joseph himself and everything we ordered came so quickly and was so tasty! The general manager, Keven, also checked on our table frequently which I really appreciated. Overall it was a super great experience with really great food! We had the Fluke Carpaccio, off menu chef’s special chutoro nigiri with mango and strawberry salsa, off menu uni shots, A5 Wagyu nigiri, Naruto ramen, Korean fried chicken, the premium nigiri platter and finished off with chocolate and green tea mochi! I truly recommend everything we tried because it was just so good.
