The hamburger was perfect ! Best onion rings I've ever had , and the waitress was amazing I'll definitely go back
Want to eat at a smoke-filled dive with sub-par food? Badly lit atmosphere, (one can only guess why)…This is your place!Hostess/Server was pleasant, but that’s the only positive note!Store bought chips and chunky salsa for $4.99? Frozen tater tots, overcooked in the oven? But the kicker????Look. If you can’t even cook a standard burger, you need to re-think your career choice! Advertised as an 8oz. Angus beef burger with the basics… Ordered mine medium rare, as I love a good burger. This was what I was served!Basically burnt on the outside and RAW on the inside!Never again! And I’m calling some friends in health services to pay a visit to this pit!***EDIT***I’m now sick, tasting the burnt “Angus Beef” and going to the bathroom every 30 mins.If I’m not better tomorrow, I’ll be going to Urgent Care to test for food poisoning!!!!
We went for late lunch, 3 pm. Was very good. The cheese fries are a favorite of my husband. I really enjoyed the tilapia, their house special. Its an older place with character. You can smoke inside and the bar is open. A real classic place in Smyrna.
The food was great and the atmosphere was super friendly.
Great live music, food, drinks, staff, and the people that go there are all super cool!!
Best dive bar in the area and always filled with a cast of colorful characters!
Went with a friend that goes there fairly frequently and she loves it. The crowd here is ALIVE! I went on Karaoke night and the crowd is super fun. The DJ and the server were awesome too. I only gave it 4 stars because the selection of songs is a bit outdated. The crowd is a little older so, they mostly have classics. Overall, it a was a fun experience, though. Will be coming back.
I write a combined review of two visits. The first was December 2015 in which I had a 5 star experience. Unfortunately my return visit in October 2018 was a 1 star experience. In fairness, I offer an average of 3 star review. My first visit was during the holiday season and I was the unwitting participant in an "ugly sweater contest" in which I made several new friends and enjoyed some fantastic food, cheap cold beers and great music. It was such an amazing experience, I talked about it with everyone who learned of my visit to Georgia, and I shared many pictures of that visit to Timbers with them.My second (and my final) visit was during a business trip to Atlanta. I recommended this small locals bar to several other visitors with the promise of the best time Georgia had to offer. While enjoying some $1 tacos and a couple beers, I decided to play Georgia Lottery Keno. I bet $50 in 4 tickets. 3 out of 4 "won" back $34, but I was only paid $25. When I asked the bartender about the $9 deficit, I was accused of lying and felt chastised about my seeming cheat. You see, 3 out 4 tickets had associated payouts, but only 2 were paid and 1 was reported back to me as "already paid". I asked how that could be when the 4 tickets were purchased from the same bartender just 15 minutes earlier and she hadn't previously paid me. She had no explanation other than to say she "was busy and don't remember".
Bartenders were great....nice lil dive bar you can smoke in....karaoke on fri nights was entertaining....bit of an older crowd but everyone was having fun. Plenty of parking.
Very reasonable and filling rib lunch. No complaints and tasty.
