This was my first trying this restaurant out. Upon eating my salad I found a live roach in my salad. I alerted the manager of the salad. The manager then looked at the salad and seen the roach was underneath the salad and offered the money back from the salad. The manager blamed the fact that I was sitting outside that’s how the roach flew into the salad. I was just highly dissatisfied. NEVER going here again. Terrible.
Very nice, spacious dining room with indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious sandwiches and soups. The Shrimp Po Boy and Gumbo were tasty. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
First time going. Won’t be coming back. I ordered the shrimp po boy. It sandwich was cold and the shrimp had no flavor. Couldn’t eat it so I went to the cashier and asked if I could order something else and they made me pay for something else to eat. So then I bought the margarita pizza and it was so oily I also couldn’t eat the pizza so I just left. Money waisted ?
I frequent this location and the Newk's on Cobb Pkwy, both are very good, timely prepared good quality foods, salads are always fresh, the Newk's on Spring Rd really go an extra mile with customer service. They are always willing to add personal touches if asked, Q is a very compassionate manager along with being warm and professional ? I really love the New cheese steak sandwich!!!
We had such a great experience at Newk’s Smyrna location today. We are in Atlanta for a Theater competition with our kids and had to pick up a HUGE order. Everything was fresh and delicious. All the boxes were labeled so we could easily distribute to the kids and they even included plastic ware! It was all done so well and the staff was so kind and courteous. My husband and I ordered our meals separately and the cashier recommended the chicken salad. It was SO good! We highly recommend Newk’s and would love to see a location close to home (near Washington DC ) someday!
This is my second review of this restaurant, overall Newk's has went through some type of changes and it really didn't improve the experience. When they first step on the scene the food was excellent, the dining experience was excellent but now the food isn't as good. Very bland. I understand due to new protocol the table with items such as the garlic cannot be, but my dining experience wasn't very good. The young lady who wanted on me was wonderful, some of the other employees act as though he would rather not be there. The food was okay, nothing to make you say "I gotta get that soup from Newks" which is how I used to feel.
I will preface this by saying I 100% know how times are difficult right now. However, I placed an order for it to be curbside pick up because I had a sick child and did not want to risk exposure to her nor anyone else. I called to let them know we were in the designated parking area. I never got my food and had to go in with a sick child. Disappointed.
Fast service. Good food.
I love this place they have really great food that comes out fast with great portions and great menus. Definitely check it out the awesome sandwiches and awesome pizzas and definitely worth stop
To think we chose this as a keto cheat day!Thank goodness for the fresh bell peppers, lettuce and tomatoes on the three different sandwiches we chose because that’s the only thing we tasted.Chicken salad was bland. No flavor at all. No sweetness or savory hints, just cold. The wheat bread was “Publix hard.”The pasta salad… only tasted like a hint of olive oil. Truly saddening.I’d advise to go here only if on a low salt/ bland diet.
