Our party of 4 visited Hook Line & Schooner, for the first time tonight. I believe we had seen it on Atlanta Eats.From the time we walked in until we left, the only employee we saw was Stacy. She was all we needed! Wow… she is the very definition of hospitality. She mentioned that she’d only been with the restaurant for onemonth, but she was so knowledgeable and excited about the food. She made great recommendations. I’ve heard that it is a difficult time in the food industry. I hope that Stacy’s management knows what an asset they have.The food did not disappoint. We ordered a wide variety of entrées and sides. The catfish and shrimp were standouts. Portions were generous and the breading was light.We will definitely go back and we hope we see Stacy when we do.
This was my first time here and YES it was a great experience. The grilled oysters were hot and quite flavorful, the peel and ear shrimp were amazing too. I also had the lobster and shrimp rangoon, the wings which were crispy as ordered. The service was pleasant and the drink was ok. I had the SS rum. I had to order extra shots for it. We were checked on quite often and received everything we ordered in a timely manner. Overall, I loved it. Will be back SOON.
If you are looking for some delicious oysters.. Hook Line is your place! Their oysters have never disappointed. I’ve been coming here the last 2 years and I have always had a great experience. Great service and friendly staff. I can’t wait to try some of their other menu options!
Lobster Roll ordered through doordash. There were burnt onion or garlic bits in it...I did order close to close but still for $25. It's good enough to satisfy my craving for now but I will probably go to Cousins next time...they have more meat for $5 cheaper and not as many veggies.
We had many challenges with the food. The service was decent but when the food is tasteless the date is done. The lobster roll had no flavor. The steak was tender but it lacked flavor. The fries were over done and the mashed potatoes and broccoli lacked flavor. The only thing we enjoyed was the service, and the drinks. We were disappointed to say the least.

Good friendly service - you should like seafood or you will be unenamored of the menu try the Brussels sprouts - would recommend the Bloody Mary too

Food was pretty flavorless, which was a bummer since I heard good reviews on this place. Key lime pie was delicious. Server was pleasant. Wasn’t too busy when we came. Shrimp to pasta ratio on the fettucine was quite disrespectful. 6 shrimp to a large bed of pasta. Won’t be returning since the food was disappointing, but the atmosphere was good.
