Great house fried rice and steak hibachi! Will definitely be ordering from them again.
I use to love this place, NOT no more! They gave me nasty wings that were so dry they crumbled. After driving 6 miles back home I opened the tray and it looked bad. I tried to eat 3 and it made me nausea. I called and talked to the manager and the only thing she said she could do .is give me 5 percent off my next order.. NO MORE HIBACHI for me!
When I first tried this place, I knew I would be back. They had good food,for the amount you were paying. Now fast forward, I don't know if they got a different chef buttttt the food isn't good anymore. If I have to re-season my meal, the chef need to go. There was a staple in my food, never had a problem here like that. So I'm going to assume someone tried to staple something and it flew in my food.
Delicious food with generous portion sizes make this place one of my go-to spots in the Marietta-Smyrna area. Staff has always been friendly in my experience, and I would gladly recommend to anyone craving some hibachi.
Been living in FL for 3yrs and we still talk about how amazing our visits to this quick bite hibachi spot. Always hits my 3 marks... Good food, hot and fast. See y'all next time we're in town ?
Cannot recommended anymore. I’ve patronized this restaurant over multiple years but I am done now. The last order we placed our hibachi meal did not include yum yum sauce which seems like a small thing but it’s not really hibachi for many people without the right sauce.Then on the most recent occasion I requested a half size sesame chicken which is how it is listed on the online menu. Not only were we up charged to a large instead, we were charged for vegetables which the online menu shows as a meal option without a charge. So instead of $8.75 we paid $12.75 and the worst part is the sesame chicken was mostly all breading, many pieces didn’t have any chicken inside or had dried out chicken inside instead of a plump moist piece of chicken (this is a quality issue with their frozen breaded chicken) and the veggies I was charged an extra $2 for were mushy (either overcooked or old) and drenched in teriyaki sauce which made for a horrible flavor combination with the sesame chicken sauce.I know this is an express restaurant and therefore (well I am understanding this now) they don’t really customize or cook to order like a regular restaurant would, so I will stick to another place I can recommend for fast fairly inexpensive food - similar menu options - and that’s Michiru also on S. Cobb Dr. For sesame chicken and General Tsao Chicken the veggies should be steamed in no sauce as you use the sauce from the chicken.
I got the Triple Delight on Tuesday evening, and I spent the next two days getting food poisoning out of my system because of the bad shrimp. I took a bite of the shrimp fried rice part of the meal, and the shrimp had a vinegar-like bite to it, and upon closer inspection it smelled really bad. I stopped eating the shrimp, removed all the shrimp from my dish, and tried to eat around the rice where the shrimp was. Unfortunately, the bad shrimp was already in my system from the first few bites I took. I spent Tuesday night, Wednesday, and Thursday vomiting, I developed a rash on my chest, and I had diarrhea and a constant throbbing headache. I’ve eaten at Hibachi Express in the past and never had this type of experience. If the meat is past it’s due date, just tell your customers that you cannot offer that type of meal. I highly doubt I will return because of the bad seafood.
This restaurant charge you to remove vegetables and eggs out of the fried rice…The rice is pre-made so if you ask them to take something out they charge you…. You get old day rice. (One dollar for eggs not to be put in)
I love this place. The servings, food, and the people there are great. Always wonderful experience.
Staying around the area for work and found this place online. I wasn’t expecting much from it because of the way the building looked and how cheap it was, but OMG the food is amazing ❤️ I definitely will go back anytime I’m in this area.
