I ordered a to go plate and when I got home to eat, the food was just awful. It was so old, I couldn’t even enjoy it. It made me gag. They should be ashamed of themselves for not changing the food on the line like they are suppose to. That was my first and last time going in there. Waste of money and time.
First time here today. I decided to start with egg drop soup (delicious through and through) and an egg roll (barely warm). For the entree: -sample of each- seafood boil (barely warm and tasted days old), string beans (cold), sesame chicken (questionable), lo mein (no taste), fried rice was ok, chicken wings (hard and lukewarm), lastly…this General Taos “chicken” (pictured below).I kept feeling string s in my mouth and went to try and separate it from the rest…it was the same through and through ??♀️ terrible “pass” for chicken…??????
Many many foods.Delicious and clean !!I think this buffet is better than other buffets.
I always regret coming here. The food typically has always been sitting around for too long and is dry and stale. The Sushi selection is poor and they rarely restock what there is. The deserts are HORRIBLE. I had a puff pastry that was hard as a rock and the cream tastes like it was from a week ago. They’ve downgraded their ice cream to just iced fruit bars. They suggest tips including the tax on the bill. And lastly, every time I've been I get stomach aches and diarrhea later. The only reason I went this time was for a friend. You’re far better off going to Pacific Buffet in Kennesaw or Sushi Village nearby for all you can eat.
Restaurant was clean and spacious, food was good .. lots of different buffet options to select from including sushi and hibachi along with a dessert bar .. staff was very friendly and attentive in refilling our drinks and picking up plates
It’s okay. I always wonder about the preparation of any food in an open buffet, but I love the hibachi here. You can create your own dish at the raw bar of many options and then give it to the chef & he’ll cook it in front of you. It’s good !
Was a regular here until our most recent experience in which we encountered both a rude waitress and manager. It started our alright, the waitress was attentative and generally kind. However, as time passed she progressively started to ignore our table, purposefully going to other tables even as we actively tried to get her attention. She started to let plates pile up on our table, to the point where we didn't even have room to even really place our drinks comfortably. At one point the manager comes over in an accusing manner. He tries to claim we are stealing food, we show him our very small purses - the size of a clutch - and he switches to claiming we aren't eating all we grab. We show him that the only thing on our plates were either napkins or inedible shrimp shells. He then awkwardly tries to indirectly tell us we are eating too much before walking away frustrated and laughing. The main issue is this is an all-you-can-eat buffet. Don't advertise as such if you aren't happy to let people eat as they wish. Even after my mother pointed out that she was pregnant and eating for two, he still tried to urge us to stop eating and leave.
Great food lot of selections! And great service! Definitely recommended to everyone!U guys should check em out! Sounds awsome isn't it? I came here because of the reviews but let me save you guys from the disbelief, the waste of money, time and gas... first this is the dirtiest looking buffet i have ever seen, outside and in...the food was THE ABSOLUTE WORST for a chinese buffet... most was tasteless and all the meat was fried in the same tired grease... i cant believe that people actually find this place 3 and above... i literally wasted money because i didnt want to argue but we are leaving here to go find dinner.. the hibachi was tasteless, how? Idk but i wil NEVER, NEVER,NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER come here again and if you are smart you won't either!!
I love love love going to Chow King. However, when I went into the restaurant after 5 pm about two weeks ago the food had been sitting under the lamps for a while. Also, the shrimp was mushy, and there were running low on food. I have never had any problems at this restaurant. That was my only problem. You could tell that some of the dishes that were sitting out needed to be replaced with fresh food. The hospitality is always on point, and the restaurant was clean. That was my only issue, and I will give them another chance.
