It's freaking breakfast people! Plain and simple, that's it. Can't really screw it up. And Waffle House has plain old breakfast down pat. Decade's of practice in taking, cooking and serving orders of eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, hash browns and waffles.Now, you can go down the road and pay much more for the same items, but it will still be breakfast just at a higher $.Don't be ashamed to walk into Waffle House and place an order. Just makes dollars and cents. And common sense.
Tried to sit down and eat here on a Saturday night. Half the restaurant was blocked off and only 2 tables were in the building. Two families walked in at the same time including mine to eat. The waitress started saying she couldn’t do this and was going to lock the door. Told us it was going to be an hour long wait before we could sit down. Tried to order to go and they wouldn’t let us order food to go either. There was also a deceased animal in the parking lot that had obviously been there a while.
Fantastic food and service...did not disappoint at all...been a waffle house eater for over 40 years and will say was very impressed with the staff and their service!
Family feeling atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff that goes that goes out of the job description to please the customers. Food is always good. Place is scrubbed clean between customer rushes.
Came in on Mother's Day, the crew was working hard. Even with a full house the food was cooked perfectly. Or waitress took good care of us. One thing to note they have signs up indicating no take out.
DISSAPOINTEDThey wouldn't let me do an order to go so if i sit down and order and just leave isn't it the same thing? I've been to a lot of Waffle Houses more busy than that and I never had issues placing to go orders.
THE BEST AND FRIENDLIEST WAFFLE HOUSE - hands down! Colleen was very attentive and super sweet the whole time. The cook (unfortunately I did not get his name) made us amazing food - the bacon was not over cooked like it usually is at other locations. Bill (I’m assuming he’s the manager or owner) even got up and cleared some plates for us while we were still eating. The atmosphere here is the true definition of southern hospitality.Take the exit off 95 and make the 2 second detour to stop in and enjoy the food and great service. You won’t regret it!Thank you Waffle House Staff!
How do you decide when you’re doing to go orders and rudely tell customers that we are serving but you have to dine in to eat. This place seems to make up its own rules on a daily basis. Why do people still eat here. The floor is always dirty the tables are dirty and they must not know how to wash utensils because they are always dirty. I think it’s time for me to let it go.
Beware The menu says the sandwich was 5.25 waitress asked me do you want bacon on it? I said does it come with it? She said yeah I said sure she asked me. Do you want hash browns? I says doesn't come with it. She said yes. I said sure. we also had two pops and one coffee The bill came to $26, The food tasted good but I was not ready for double the price.
So I ALWAYS get a double order of hashbrowns scattered, smothered,...etc...no onions, no mushrooms....top INCLUDE chili on top...Shanna or FANTASTIC server (don't eat here unless she's your server...and over tip the sh!t out of her!!), served me up THE BEST hashbrowns I've EVER HAD, AT ANY WAFFLEHOUSE, IN ANY STATE, AT ANY LOCATION HANDS DOWN! To the degree that I asked for the cooks name, which is VICTORIA....you MUST have her hasbrowns...TODAY! Extra Special SHOUT OUT to my GIRLZ @ Waffle House 881! I appreciate the warm LOVE and full belly on such A COLD night! Thank you both for taking pride in ALL you two do!
