This was the kind of yummy and qualitative food we were looking for. Great place for vegetarians too. I had some awesome grilled squid as starter and a great scrimp tacos afterwards. Sushi’s were good and the tofu was extraordinary. Dessert: Tuxedo fudge: heaven!!
Savannah is our new home away from home, and The Vault will be a new tradition for us. Our youngest daughter is attending SCAD this fall, and she introduced us to this casual fine dining restaurant. An excellent choice for dinner after a 9 hour drive. We enjoyed the noodle stir fry, shrimp tacos, The Vault sushi roll, and The Traveller sushi roll. Absolutely delicious. Alex was our waiter, and he was very kind and fun to talk with. We ended our meal sharing a slice of tuxedo cake, which according to our daughter was as good as Kroger’s tuxedo cake (her favorite) ?
The food here is phenomenal. Vegan friendly. Beautiful space and ambience. The staff are a little scattered. Or at least they were when we went. It wasn’t enough to cause me to leave a low review but y’all - STEP IT the **** UP. You are serving fine dining food with fine dining pricing. Service has to match or people won’t return because they just don’t wanna deal with the service.
We got there just before the lunch rush and were interested in many menu options. We got the chicken clay pot and traveler sushi. Both tasted fresh and delicious! The clay pot felt a little heavy for lunch but regardless was very flavorful and different from our usual choices. Nice place!
Always one of my fav places to go in Savannah! Great ambience and service, drinks are fabulous, and food is on point. Expect a mix of Asian flare cuisine. Reasonably priced for Savannah, and on location parking make this a perfect place to meet up with friends!
Fun ambience/decor! Had to knock down to 4/5 for smell of cleaning solution (the sort of dirty-water with barely enough bleach smell that is reminiscent of mildew) that overpowered me from the moment I walked in, AND very foul-smelling restroom (dispite the diffuser actively attempting to cover it). But the food was EXCELLENT, service was friendly, but not over-the-top. Turmeric chicken was "the best chicken I've ever had," per my fiancé, and the seaweed salad & sushi were very tasty. Wished there had been more sushi options without tempura or cream cheese. Pretty good beer selection.
I am a regular at this restaurant. I would recommend the food and it is fairly priced but the service of late has been …well.. ‘ Scaddish .’ By that term I refer to the Scad arts students who appear as ‘waitresses’ but who seem to have had no training or any natural aptitude for the job. The one last week was offhand in the extreme. She only brightened when she brought the check but I am afraid she would have been sorely dissapointed in her tip. Nevertheless as I said the food is good. So I went for a takeout tonight. While my food was being prepared I sat at the bar . A young scaddie ‘ bartender ‘ tried hard to ignore my presence which was hard as I was the only one sitting there… But eventually another member of staff came along and asked me what I wanted. After a long interval of not making eye contact and polishing glasses I was presented with a glass of cider without smile or comment. Really impressive how hard the young scaddie worked not to engage the only person at the bar. So just a needlessly cheerless experience all round. I do think that whoever is in charge here needs to take a grip and try to ensure elementary customer service skills. Being ‘cool’ may be the thing at college but really doesn’t pay in the service trade.

Went there for a late lunch. I had blue cheese and pear salad with grilled salmon, it was so delicious. Lemon coconut soup was very tasty as well and the thai margarita was amazing! Service was excellent and I’ll definitely be back soon!
Good experience, attentive service, whole fish special was great and quite a presentation. Sat near the bar, calamari app was also very good. Would definitely dine here again. Seafood heavy menu.
