I was staying at a hotel nearby and decided to walk to this restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, and food was good. I had grilled shrimp for appetizer, they tasted really good, but I didn’t care for the polenta cake that came with it. Then I had the Carolina burger with truffle fries, and it was delicious. Service was a little slow as the place was packed.
Worth the wait. Went on a Saturday evening and were told it would be 45 min to sit outside. You can add your name, take a walk, and they will text when table available. You have ten min to get back.Lucked out and found two spots at bar to get some drinks and 15 min later got a table. Got the Savannah Shrimp and Grits, while my buddy had the Venison Burger. Food was delicious and service was friendly.Definitely a nice spot for cocktails and dinner.
FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN ALL OF SAVANNAH! We stumbled upon this restaurant on our very last day in Savannah and we couldn't be happier that this was our last dinner. Great ambiance, amazing service, and the shrimp & grits is to die for. We also ordered the pork belly with polenta and it was just as divine! I would honestly go back to Savannah from San Francisco just to eat at this restaurant. We were a table of 2 and the bill came out to about $85, that's including 2 entrees, 2 drinks, a tea and dessert....oh which by the way, the lemon tart was the best I've ever had.
This venison burger and oyster stew was simply amazing!
We ate on the sidewalk and enjoyed the fine spring evening air of Savannah. Staff was attentive and the menu was enticing. All our food was great. Can be a bit noisy inside when packed so thats why we sat outside.
We dropped in here on a whim on the walk back to our hotel. There open seats at the bar, but a wait for outside tables. We chose the bar and our bartender was excellent. He was welcoming, engaging and readily offered to make my husband a different drink when they were out of a component for the drink he ordered. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he was attentive to all of us at the bar while keeping up with orders for the tables. We had already eaten, but the food ordered by those sitting at the bar looked delicious. I wish we would have time to have gone back to eat here. We loved the atmosphere here! Highly recommend!
I went a couple months ago and took my grandson and got the shrimp and grits! It was amazing. They accommodated my grandson and made him shrimp Alfredo! Victoria our waitress was absolutely wonderful!!! She was so attentive and sweet. I went back tonight and took my daughter. She’s a pescatarian and I wanted her to try the shrimp and grits but they couldn’t do it without the bacon. They accommodated her with the shrimp Alfredo as well. She said it was the best she had ever eaten. I’m a restaurant owner myself and we pride ourselves on great food and customer service and they have the best. If I could give them 100 stars I would
Great burger and great service. Fills up fast so get there before noon for lunch. Cucumber and tomato salad was great too. Knowledgeable staff, Harris was great and made the burger recommendation that 3 of us ordered (and loved)!
Great little spot! Excellent waitress, very sweet and attentive! Ambiance was fast & loud, but was great! Food was fantastic! We had sangria & beer, sangria was very good & husbands beer great but to me beers beer lol. We started with the warm olives, wow it was enough for 4, there were only 2 of us, but we ate them! Next chicken, was great & husband had pork belly! Very filling & tasty! Definitely would recommend! Love to come back!
We ate at the bar and loved the people and bartender watching. The place was packed inside and out and had a great vibe. Tucker was our server and he was awesome! We had the Seared tuna over noodles which was amazing! The restaurant is in fun part of town - walked back to our hotel among the various tours. Such a fun spot, great service and delicious food!
