I ordered through grubhub. Food was on time. I ordered chicken, zucchini pasta, mac&cheese,potato salad, and blue velvet cake. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Mac&cheese was dry with barely any cheese. I liked the zucchini pasta. Wasn't a fan of the potato salad. The blue velvet cake had a piece of hair on top of it. It was placed in a black container with a clear top. I was able to recognize the hair before I even open the lid. I definitely will not be ordering from here again.
My girlfriends and I are visiting Savannah from Maryland, found this place online and are we glad we did! The rib eye was flavorful and tender enough to cut with a plastic knife. The stuffed salmon was cooked to perfection and the asparagus had just the right amount of crunch! The loaded potato salad was different but good. Do yourself a favor and check this establishment out. You will not be disappointed!
I came down to Savannah and got in late. I decided to Uber eats to my hotel because I seen the reviews. Boy was I wrong. I asked for a medium steak and received a rare one. They literally only seared the top and the bottom of the steak. The asparagus were ok. The Mac n cheese wasn’t good at all. Not sure if it’s like that cause I got it late which is unfortunate if so but just a head ups you might want to try and go to this place early than late.
I've ordered from here more times than I can count which is why I'm leaving 5 stars. The staff is delightful and the food is amazing. However, last night when I ordered my blue velvet cake smelled and tasted like bleach. Like actual cleaning supplies. I thought I was crazy and handed it over to my fiance who explained to me they didn't rinse the pan out fully. I only took a bite and I'm feeling fine. Despite that, this one mistake they still have my full support. I've been ordering from them for years and this is the one time something went wrong. Mistakes happen. I do think the kitchen needs to be more careful, but in honesty this place has put so much love into what they do.
this restaurant needs to stay A CONCEPT. i had been plotting on eating here for a good while. was hungry tonight and ordered them through uber eats. the salmon was tiny, unseasoned, overcooked, and hard. THEY GAVE ME THREE PIECES OF ASPARAGUS. THREE PIECES. decent sized mashed potatoes and okra, i guess. but everything was overall not tasty. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I got off work about midnight and couldn't find a restaurant to get something good to eat. I Google to find something near me and The Concept came up. I was hesitant at first because of location and set up. I'm glad I went. The food was awesome! The owners were very delightful even though it was late. The blueberry cake melts in your mouth. There was a line for their cookies. I ordered the chicken sandwich and chicken salad for lunch the next day. I was pleased with my order. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
There should be a line down the block for this food! Crab cakes? delicious, large whole lumps in tasty breading, fried to perfection. Fried cauliflower? delicious perfectly spiced clouds from heaven. Mac and cheese? rich and fantastic! Banana pudding? Sweet end to a perfect meal. Oh and the tea, yes heavens! So good! 100 out of 10, I suggest you try this hidden savannah gem.
My husband ordered crab cakes, fried cauliflower and yellow rice from this establishment. The food was flavorless and smelled as if it were cooked in old grease. The fried cauliflower’s breading was soggy and cauliflower was mushy. This food was rancid and inedible. They put a Jehovah’s Witness brochure in the bag, just in case you have horrible food, you will know that this experience has not been made up. I am shocked that they have nearly a 4.5 google review. We were traveling and not from the area. Struggled to find anything open on Christmas. Luckily and miraculously we stumbled on this place. We ordered Crab Cakes, Steak and Salmon with crab. All of it was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The crab cakes were amazing and had a little spice to them- which we loved. The banana pudding was also great for dessert. The staff was friendly and our food was ready on time. Locals should support this place- if we were- we would. Highly recommend
I found them on UberEats. I’m upset that it’s taken me this long to give them a try. I had the fried pork chops with yellow rice and spicy baked beans. It was fresh and seasoned perfectly. My picky eater had the fried chicken dinner. She finished every morsel . We had the strawberry cheesecake cookies and they were delicious as well. We will definitely try them again.
