From the inception of this visit we asked for a table for five and a high chair. We got a table for four in an area that had no room for a high chair. We explained again and were shown to a same size table which was a table for four with no room for a high chair. We asked to rotate the table away from the wall and a high chair. We were looked at like we were crazy. Unbeknownst to the host and server, I speak Spanish as a second and could understand what was being said about us. Not cool. Serving food on chipped/broken plates is against Georgia state health policy. None of this is on our server, she was great with an outstanding demeanor.

I ordered the piggy burritos online as take out, which is described as “two shredded pork Carnitas burritos”. I only got one burrito…. When placing the order it asks you “how many do you want?” and gives the options of “1” or “2”. This really isn’t intuitive and when I selected “1” I assumed I was getting 1 order of piggy burritos, which is again described as two burritos. Looking back the fact that it costs $10 for “1” and $12 for “2” makes it seem kind of obvious, but either way I wound up with half the food I wanted (and seeing it would have only cost $2 more only makes it more annoying). I didn’t notice till I got home, so I’m out of luck.

After reading the reviews that this was voted best Mexician restaurant for the last 6 years, we had to try it. And we weren't disappointed. The staff were really helpful and the food was outstanding. Even took flan home for dessert. Our waiter Matias was very pleasant. Would recommend this restaurant on a trip to Savannah.

Super good and authentic food with great price and service Have to try Great !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything wanna give a try here Food comes quick

I hadn’t heard of MOLCAJETE, and if you look it up what you will see is a stone mortar and pestle, this dish uses that stone mortar to contain shrimp, steak and chicken in a AMAZING sauce that is full of flavor. WARNING this food is very hot (temperature wise). My dish came out boiling and stayed that way for almost 5 minutes but if you like flavor, it’s worth taking small sips. Glad I tried it. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive as well. Will go there again when I am in town

Great food! I was exceptionally surprised of the spices and the original taste. The food was excellent and very tasty. The waiter was friendly and professional. The restaurant is very clean and very busy. A large variety for every taste, chicken, steak, pork and seafood. I specially loved the Chile verde dinner plate with pork. Out of this world!

It was a busy night at all restaurants- they were able to make arrangements and sit a large party of 7. Thank you for that. Food was great, fresh, lots of variety, priced right. I felt good after that meal. They make guacamole in front of you and serve you with a fried snapper at market price.( if you order one) It was fresh huge and market price $28. Service was good and we really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back.

Recommend and they did not let us down. Laid back, very nice servers. Their Mole sauce was delicious but not sweet!! I did not try a margarita but will later. Salsa just right. They have the best rice that had vegetables in it!!! It was well worth falling off the wagon of low carbs.

Our waitress was awesome. She was quick and checked in with us. Good mix of cheap Mexican food, street style tacos and some nicer dishes.

We arrived at 9pm, location closes at 10pm. I know we arrived an hour before they closed but I felt rushed to leave.By 10:05 they put up the lights, flipped the chairs, and started sweeping. As most people know when you sweep you lift up dirt and its a bit uncomfortable to eat with someone cleaning around you.The chicken empanadas were dry and overcooked. Margaritas could of been better due to the fact your going to a Mexican location, the expectations are a little higher than most for margaritas, especially with the name tequila town.
