I read great reviews about this place so decided to check out as I was craving Mexican food! Everything was perfect, food, service, portions and price! The owner made sure we are getting everything we need. Definitely recommend this place!
Incredible food!! San Luis Potosí is in the house. Food was delicious, tortillas are hand made so the tacos were phenomenal. For the price this place is out of this world, very cheap for the deliciousness. Must try if in the area, the service was excellent ? will be coming back very soon ?
Tried this place out for the first time after someone at my work recommended it. I was not disappointed! I got the barbacoa quesadilla and it was delicious! The staff was very attentive and friendly and the price wasn't awful either. We will definitely be returning!
Omg this place has the best tacos in Savannah hands down!!! Authentic taste with high quality ingredients. The tacos are made in such a way to that the flavors come together perfectly not just onion and cilantro you can tell a chef created it. Not to mention the fresh fruit water and the hand made tortillas. ?? Support not only small business but EXCELLENT TACOS!
Savannah is not a city known for its “Latin Cuisine” but one of the best hidden gems, whether for Tacos on Tuesday or taking your taste buds on an adventure, Taqueria El San Luis delivers!The vibrant atmosphere is accentuated by the friendly staff who are bi-lingual in a way that speaks both Native English & Spanish speakers comfortable they’re being understood completely. The owner/manager makes his way around in a friendly (not robotic) way & whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find on the simple but sufficient menu.The tacos were the best I’ve had in Savannah & I’ll certainly be coming back for más.
We were in the area and decided to try this restaurant out since it had such great reviews. We are so glad we did! The food was amazing. I had 1 shrimp, 1 chicken, and 1 shredded beef taco, as well as a side of rice. It was more than enough food for me. My husband got a pork burrito with the rice and beans. It was huge and plenty filling for him. He loved it so much that he wanted to buy more to take home with us. We live over an hour away so we won’t be able to eat here as often as we would like. We didn’t buy any to take home with us, but we did buy three more tacos before we left. We took the meat out of the tacos for my husband to feed to his service dog after we left the restaurant.We had my husband’s service dog with us as well. They did not give us any issues with her being present.When we are back in the area we will definitely be going back to eat and will be telling our friends about this restaurant.
We just ate the most delicious tacos there tonight. Sincere folks work there and the boss came out to talk with us. A must place to eat!!! Ask for their extremely hot sauce. Superb food & service. Everything is homemade down to their soft corn tortillas. Thank you!!!!!
This is a great spot! They focus on fresh authentic Mexican food. The flavor will bring you back for more. I can't stop thinking about their shredded chicken tacos and the green salsa. Yum!
BEST TACOS IN SAVANNAH. Friendly & fast service, fresh ingredients, overall the best authentic Mexican tacos. The tacos al pastor were delicious but all are incredible. Fresh and sweet horchata too!
We had excellent food and friendly service from a family who (deservedly!) takes pride in their lovely restaurant. My husband and I had delicious tacos, and our toddler liked her quesadilla so much she sat still for almost 10 minutes ? We will be back to try more things on the menu!
