Sweet Spice picked the right name for their restaurant!! First try today, brown stew tofu is a symphony of flavor and the BEST plantains I've ever had in Savannah! I could pick this any day it's so easy to get on my way home. On my list, thank you so much!!
I walked in and there was one customer. I sat at the bar to order. The customer that was in when I got there was finished and walked to the bar to pay after I sat down. The customer asked for two more pieces of toast to go and the person said, no problem, it will take two minutes. The two people working walked to the back and never came back out front. I had to go to the kitchen and ask for help. The person came out and said, oh, I didn't know you wanted to order. As I walked out, he sarcasticly said, have a nice day.
The food was deliciously seasoned. Clean and restaurant with adequate seating. Super friendly waiter. Very tasty food! I had the brown stew chicken with fried dumplings and macaroni n cheese. My friend had jerk chicken with peas and brown rice. No black cake but looking forward to going back soon!

The food I order was delicious! It wasn't a lot of business going on the day I was there. To bring the food it didn't take that long after the food was order. A large amount for only $9.99!

Your food is NEVER READY when you call it in. Good food, but the waiting, ugh.
