Ordered from here a few weeks ago and was thoroughly disappointed by the quality and service. I was told thirty minutes, the pizza arrived in two hours. When I called to complain, I was told that two hours is standard (ridiculous!) The pizza itself was cold and lacked sauce and toppings (I'd requested and paid for extra), it was a cold, disgusting hunk of dough and cheese. We ended up throwing it out. I called trying to get a refund and was told I would get a callback from a manager. That call has yet to come, in over two weeks. I will never recommend or order from this joint again.
If you order delivery from here, make sure you leave plenty of time. The last 5 times I've ordered it was over 30 minutes past the delivery time I was told.As for the food. It's hit or miss, sometimes it's fine. Others it's over or undercooked.I still order from them because when they are good they're good and pretty cheap. Almost as cheap as Domino's but better when it's prepared right.I'm only writing this review now because it's late again and I'm bored while waiting. (supposed to be here at 7:49, currently 8:11)
Dined here after going on a Savannah City Tour. Had a large veggie calzone with 2 kinds of cheese and a yummy white sauce. It was baked perfectly with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and spinach. The dips were sooo good too. We got a large to share between the two of us but easily could have fed for 3-4 people. My sister and I are in our 60's and laughed we were eating at Stoner's Pizza but very happy we stayed and ate. Highly recommend!
Ordered pizza and cookies through app for pickup. Was notified on app that it was ready for pick up and when we arrived they said it wasn’t ready and they didn’t receive the order. So basically it would never be ready. The staff could have been helpful and try to get us an order but instead the staff was rude to us. They lost a customer who lives there and enjoys eating out. I was charged by app utilized for cancelling order they said they never got.
These wings were absolutely disgusting. They were soggy (as if they were boiled) and not even tossed. They just poured a little bit of bbq sauce ontop. the pizza was ok at best. I use to like this place but whoever made this tonight should be ashamed of themselves. We tried it anyways since it was paid and we were starving but will be trashing the rest. It's inedible.
If there were no stars, that's what I'd choose. I ordered this via Uber Eats as there were issues with my credit card, being out of state. Never again. The pizza was cold, cheese was congealed. When I called to let the manager know, she said she can't say whether the driver would carry a thermal bag. She can't govern that. The wings were NOT well done, as ordered. No cutlery was provided and we are in a hotel. A little hard to eat a salad with my hands, but honestly the lettuce was the only good thing about this fiasco -very pricey- meal. Don't waste your money on this. Unless you were really stoned, there's no way anyone could enjoy this lousy pizza.
Rude!! Not only was my order delivered incomplete, when I called to inquire about my missing order I was out on hold for the “manager”. 20 mins later … still on hold. The pizza is average at best. There are several options in the Savannah area for pizza. Do yourself a favor - pass on this one. Completely unsatisfactory customer service.
Stoner's Pizza Savannah GAOrder placed at 6:41 pm on December 20, 2021. Had to call 3 times wondering where our food was. Finally showed up over 2 hours later. Food was cold and under-cooked on garlic knots, calzone and all 3 pizzas. Uncooked dough is clearly visible. Spoke with the manager who refused to correct the problem or offer any refund. He went so far to say that I should have ordered "well-done" pizza. Who orders "well-done" pizza? He tried to school me on how the oven works and refused to do anything to fix the order. We had to throw out the entire order, a waste of $130.
The woman answering the phone on 12/26/21 at 7:30 in the evening hung up on us twice while we were trying to make an order (one large pizza and one cheese bread), we had to call back and ask if they wanted payment. Called back a half hour later to get a time estimate for delivery, because she hung up again before she gave that, and she hung up on us three times in the attempt to get a time estimate. 10-15 minutes. Called back for the sixth and seventh time (got hung up on again) an hour after our order was placed and asked for a manager, she said she IS ONE! And again, 10-15 more minutes. She is awful. We're yet to see what arrives - or if it arrives - but she earned this review by herself.I understand if a place is busy or understaffed, but forcing the customer to call back over and over again to complete an order is inexcusable. So is the lack of an honest delivery estimate. We're locals, and we'll get our pizza elsewhere from now on.
I work at nearby Greyhound CAT bus station and have tried dine in, take out, and delivery. Always fast for a pizza place. Staff is friendly. Clean inside. Well cooked pizza. No complaints. And open late!
