Last nite I decided to go to Spanky Southside. As I got in there to order nobody asked. Then after I placed my order a guy sitting they to a kitchen worker it would be nice if his food was not burnt. I did laugh and then waited for about 20 25 mins to get my food. Mind my order was 32 dollars seeing they went up on there prices for same service and food is not as good as before. Then I get home to find out I didn't even get all what I paid for. I ordered 6 fingers and Spuds but got 4 over cooked fingers for one and the the Spuds and chicken made in old grease by how dark the skin was plus same as my Shrimp Basket. I would say check everything if u go there because then don't care!!!
The Chicken tenders were amazing. Definitely the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The service was a bit slow, as they had some new fry cooks, and several large parties ahead of my group, but all things considered, it was great. Also, the spuds are killer.
First time visitor but definitely won't be my last. Service was outstanding and the food was great. Started off with Loaded nachos which was a meal itself as large as it was. Then had the steak finger basket. Loved every bit of it. Can't wait to go back and try more off the menu.
I had the chicken fingers and potato spuds eight piece. Half of it was glazed with blue cheese dressing and the other half was fried with honey horseradish. Delicious!
The wait for the food was quite long, even though the business was not that busy. The food was alright. The patty melt was plain and not worth $13. The chicken club and wrap were tasty! The fries and the ranch were very good. Overall, this place is alright.
We arrived here with our family for the first time based on a Google search because we were from out of town and hungry! This place is a typical burgers, wings and pizza joint so basically like a fast food but with in door dining. We ordered a large pizza, chicken Alfredo and chicken wings, it was simple enough. Well it took over an hour just to receive our food. The waiter came to our table about three times to tell us they were "almost" done and sorry for our wait. We were on the brink of getting up and leaving when the food literally finally arrived. And why we waited, I don't know? Because the food wasn't even all that good. The pizza looked and tasted like cafeteria pizza or frozen pizza they stick in the oven , which if that's the case not sure why it would take so long to come. The wing flavor was good but the spuds were terrible, no flavor and fried on top of each other so the flour was falling off and it was kind of soggy on some parts. The chicken Alfredo my son was wasn't all that either. My son loves chicken Alfredo and is seldom picky but if he wasn't too fond of it and he's not a really picky boy then yeah it wasn't the best either. The locals seem to love this place but if you have people traveling and they come for the first time then you should always have your food at an excellent standard and service as well. I would NOT recommend.
Waitress was great, got our order and my husband's was completely wrong. Our food took forever to come out. We love Spanky's but will not be returning to the mall location one any time soon.
I always order the lemon pepper wings no matter what else I get for dinner. They are AMAZING! The staff is great. Very friendly. They treat you like family. Fast service yet they don't compromise the taste of the food or how well it's plated for speed!!
Food and service are always consistently good here. This is my favorite place for a quick bite in the Ogelthorpe mall area. Blackened chicken fingers and spuds are my go to but also love their salads and grilled shrimp. My son loved the wings.
Our waitress was nice & pleasant. Food came out hot. We ordered one adult beverage, it tasted more like cool-aid definitely won't be ordering that again. I'd recommend NOT going around noon on Sundays they were pretty crowded. It didn't take very long to be sat, but our food took 42min to come out..
