Ate here 12 years ago while staying close by and enjoyed it. We decided to come back again. Sat up at the bar in the same place of 12 years ago and looked at those photos then and now and still the same. Food good, drinks good and atmosphere great. Love this place.
We dropped in for a light lunch and a drink. The place was busy but we found a couple seats at the bar. I love any bar where Harp is on draft. We split the corned beef sandwich and cole slaw. Both were very good. The bar had a nice ambiance and an eclectic crowd. I would highly recommend it.
We stopped into Six Pence Pub on a whim, and it was the best comfort food! It was a freezing cold night and just what we needed after walking around in the cold. It was packed, but we got seats at the bar. Staff was awesome. It was so good we decided to go back another night. It was another incredible meal and great service. Highly recommend!
Lots of British pubs in Savannah given its British heritage. This one is in the historic district and is well appointed. Check out the Toby collection on the bar. Great Scotch Eggs, bangers, pot pies.
Dinner here. My wife ordered a Reuben which she liked. I ordered one of the specialties and was disappointed. Surprisingly small portion of "meh" Shepherds Pie served in a shallow ramekin, accompanied by a garden salad. Not impressed. Bill for dinner and one rum & tonic cocktail was $43.40 before tip. Server was friendly and efficient.
My wife and I had dinner here and really enjoyed the visit. A smaller pub, we had no trouble being seated. Our waitress was Bethany and she had great suggestions for beer. We ordered the Pot roast and the Beef Guinness with mashed potatoes and cheddar on top. Both meals were very good.
We had crab cakes , stuffed bangers with mashed potatoes, done to perfection with a great bottle of wine. We sat outside under the open sky and enjoyed the people walking around enjoying the evening the inside is quaint and clean a must see if you are in town.
