I decided to try a new restaurant for lunch and I was very satisfied with my meal! This place is definitely a hidden gem. The staff was friendly and the sandwich I settled on (The Eddie) was fresh and full of flavor. Thank you for a great first experience, I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
a friend and i stopped in for a quick bite, and it was amazing! we both got the yankee dipper with pasta salad. it was totally worth every cent!! the sandwich itself was cooked perfectly, and the pasta salad was to die for! had to go back and get more pasta salad!
Seriously- the #14 (smoked salmon with ALL the fixins) is THE BEST bagel sandwich I’ve ever had! I switched to an Asiago bagel and didn’t regret it a bit. I will be back on my way back to Colorado to pick up more bagels to take back with me.
The staff here is friendly, professional and very helpful. Excellent selection of fresh Italian cookies. Ordered the ricotta cookies for my baby shower along with canolis! Simply Devine! Cookies were fresh from the morning I ordered. I highly recommend and will definitely go back.
Came here twice from Rincon and this place is horrible nothing like the NYS.. they have nothing here.. in response to the reply, came in for breakfast sandwiches and was told no room on the grill to make those and you have nothing to offer. No Italian bread for sale, no rolled ect.. staff rude and it is a waste of time. Hum the The breakfast was not resolved you told me you couldn’t do it and that you weren’t doing it so I went elsewhere to get it done. If you would’ve told me that you can resolve it or you can make it it’s gonna be a few minutes that would’ve been a different story. When you’re running a deli customers are always right the way you treat customers is not Customer satisfactory, it’s funny I posted it on Facebook and so many others agreed with me. I know the owners from Pastosa I am the niece. So moving forward I expect it more when someone walks into my deli and asked for breakfast and there’s no timeframe for it I should be prepared you were not. I will not be returning to your deli nor will I advertise for it I find it to be very unuseful in every way. You should not use the New York name because you are nothing like it
Finally got by, and the place is great! Pastrami is smoked, which is a little different, but I love it. It’s proper pastrami, not the flavored deli meat you find in other places. Shari had the stuffed shells, which are wonderful. Good people, good food, good value. If you haven’t been, go.
Had an amazing corned beef with spicy mustard and Swiss on rye. Just plain delicious and really lean - cut just right! New go to place for lunch…
Absolutely Delicious! Huge sandwiches, so good! I had the Reuben, at their suggestion. Amazing! Home made pickles and homemade pasta salad capped it off. The ladies out front were aggressively friendly and awesome. Got a handshake from Bill, they did enjoy my last name, btw. I will be back next week, actually, maybe tomorrow!!!
Too many nice things to say about this place. The food is fantastic and the only real new york deli (or real deli in general) in the area. I had an event catered by these folks and they knocked it out of the park. Top to bottom, service to quality is excellent. Thank you, rocky’s!
This spot is a real gem! Great sandwiches. True deli meats and breads, great pasta salad, I just come in for lunch, but they obviously do a huge catering business as well.
