I thought front desk services was absolute garbage. No one picks up the phone, asked for a luggage cart while we tried to check out with a screening newborn and no one picked up. After 35 minutes I got through and then no one showed up! How is this a highly rated hotel? The bed was comfortable, but otherwise they have a long ways to go on customer service.

Beautiful historic hotel with great river views. I came with family and friends for a wedding. The Inn provided excellent service. All the staff was extremely helpful but I want to give special thanks to Miss Val, Akos (an amazingly helpful and NICE person!!) and Wally!! Thank you River Street Inn!!

Overnight visit to Savannah with my daughter. A beautiful hotel. They offer a managers reception six nights a week from 5-7 with free drinks and appetizers. Great amenities and staff. Highly recommend.

Great historical hotel! Easy access to everything The managers private reception every night is so much fun with Val the bartender/ entertainment! Parking is basically valet only but you are close to everything. Rooms are clean and staff very friendly.

Wonderful location in historic district. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Would definitely recommend.staff was friendly and helpful. Was concerned maybe issue with noise in older hotel but that was not an issue at all. Our valet Ricky Ricardo greeted us on the first night and was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable about the area and had some great suggestions for activities.

Worth the trip! The inn is beautiful. Keeps the historic feel with the comforts of modern day. The valet parking is work the expense. Ricky is very friendly and does a great job! Would stay here again!

My husband and I love to stay here when we are visiting Savannah without our kids or pets. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are very nice and the complimentary wine and snacks with Val just might be our favorite part! Val is so entertaining, funny, and nice! We make sure to go see her first before we head out to explore Savannah.

Overall the hotel was great! We loved the little daily treats in the lobby and the convenience to everything in the historic district! The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was quite noisy at night, we were on the River side and at one point(4:00 a.m.) felt like the party down on the street was in our room. But I’m not sure of the street side is any quieter from the reviews I’ve read. Definitely check out the managers reception that is held nightly from 5:00-7:00 but most definitely go on Sunday or Monday when MJ is there, she is a great bartender and so much fun! We had a blast doing trivia with her and sampling her specially made cocktails.

This is a great location by the river with great restaurants and the best happy hour with Val- the best bartender around! Val makes you feel like family. She is the best and the overall stay is fantastic.

The beds were comfortable, that’s all I can say about this hotel. My sister and I booked thinking this would be a beautiful hotel to stay in while at Savannah. Upon our arrival the girl at the front desk was very nice, helpful, and explained every thing to us, but the second girl was rude and if asked any questions she acted put out. I first made reservations, but later tried to change them to add an additional night and was hung up on several times until I finally got though to the reservation department and got them changed there. The hotel itself is very chopped up and hard to maneuver around without doing some steps, which was very hard for my sister. The showers were old and rusted, had a leaky refrigerator in our room holding a pool of water in the floor, and didn’t get our rooms cleaned daily. We had to request towels, garbage bags or other items if need during our stay. Pictures on their website are a little deceiving. Obviously pictures taken by wide angle lens camera of rooms but they were very small, not large rooms as it appears on their site. We were disappointed!
