Good food. But the service was mediocre and it took some time for the food to come out. Good hush puppies though- glad those came out to hold us over until the meal came

Beautiful location on Herb River. Server was attentive without hovering. Hush Puppies are basically pre-dinner dessert and delicious. Food is not elegant (at least what we get) but if you like fried seafood done well you will like Pearl's.

We had a super server. The food was FABULOUS as usualâ¦.. Such creative and delicious flavors together!! The drinks were Exceptionalâ¦.. The peach cobbler on our first trip was not our favorite. Last night we had the key lime pie and it was nice. We wish you all would include at least one CHOCOLATE dessert. Even if you donât, your menu is so FANTASTIC and is our FAVORITE place to eatâ¦.. We chose this restaurant based on Yelp reviews while visiting Savannah. We wanted good food in a casual atmosphere. This fit the bill! The restaurant could use some refreshed decor⦠it looked a bit tired. But we were seated by the windows overlooking the marsh so had a gorgeous view. The food was outstanding. We had the she crab soup and I had the tilapia imperial, while husband had shrimp 3 ways. They brought out a basket of hush puppies with sweet butter - addictive! The soup had delicious flavor. The entrées were served hot and the fish was fresh and tasty. Our server was efficient and friendly.
We live in Orlando Fl. And my wife's birthday was on August 1 st. And she wanted to go to Savannah and go to Pearls for dinner on her birthday. We used to live in Savannah about 20 years ago and she remembered how good the pearls hush puppy were and wanted them again. So 5 hours later we were there and it was great. Had a good time bought a few souvenirs and headed home. Thanks Perals.
First time visiting Pearlâs. Salads were good, she crab stew was average, shrimp and scallops were good, crab legs delicious; however, my wife ordered grouper and it didnât appear to be grouper and was undercooked. We had to send the grouper back it was not eatable. Iâm a fisherman so I know seafood. She is now sick. The shrimp linguine Alfredo dinner had so much cheese on it that is all my daughter could taste. The hush puppies were made of a sweet funnel cake type of batter. Not a traditional southern hush puppy. Sorry to say, but we will. It be going back.
