This location has some of the nicest kindest people. I've gone here many many times with my daughter. I don't often write reviews, but I've seen the managers and many employees be so kind to each other and customers...and food is always yummy. Good people...good food .
The food is always great, as is the service. The reason I gave a lower review is because it took me almost 30 min to get someone on the phone to place a pickup order. If your a company as big as Panera bread you should be able to field a phone call. I know you'll claim there is a "labor shortage" but that's not the case. You have a "hiring and wage" shortage which can be solved by a few sacrifices on the corporate side. I'm stuck at home with covid and trying to be responsible and supportive and the call goes unanswered it's a bit frustrating. Don't advertise you have a pickup service when you're not really doing a good job at having one.
Panera is one of my all-time favorite places to get a great sandwich, pastry, or soup but this location, I'm not even sure it's a Panera. Service was terrible, it had not one pastry in the place, when I did get my order it was wrong. Panera corporate you need to do something with this location it is an embarrassment to the entire company!
Never have supplies at lunch. Today I paid for items I did not receive. I am awaiting a response on a full refund. Hopefully, management will be responsive and address my concerns. In general, I really cannot recommend this location. From the cramped parking lot to the poor service to the non-urgent staff responses, things could be better. I will update this if management answers. They will stay busy no matter what, but if you want a Panera that provides top-notch service, keep driving.
While it’s nice cosmetically and the food was normal for Panera, this location is not up to Panera’s standards for service. Not only does this location not have self-ordering kiosks, but the cashiers were doing an inadequate job. The worst of it was when I asked for a drink. I have Unlimited Sip Club, so I can get most of the drinks in any size for free. Not to be entitled, but the cashier I told about that gave me a regular-size hot cup without asking. While I understand this location is an older one and it isn’t set up for full self-service, this should be one that is next for renovations.
I went to Panera Bread on Abercorn St this afternoon for lunch. I ordered online. Usually, I don't have any issues, but I guess there is always that 1 time. My WHOLE order was WRONG in some way or fashion. I made sure to check the receipt against what I received in the bag. YUP, a complete screw up. Then when I try to call to get this rectified (I've called 4 times since 12:30p) there is no answer. All I wanted was a good meal on this dreary day. I guess I'm just out of luck. So disappointed, I expected better.
Usually they just put the basics in the cup and have you do the rest of making the coffee. Well, today I was running behind schedule for work and placed a mobile order, asking them to please make it for me. And I will have to say, I am so ecstatic that Jada was my barista! Most places don’t pay attention to the “special notes” but she did and made my morning go that much smoother. I walked in before she could finish, but she was making it for me to buy me some time so I could get to work on time.Jada rocks! She’s my new favorite person! If she ever reads this- you’ve also got a killer personality and you’re the best!
My wife has had a Mypanera acct for over a decade. At one time this was our “go to” place. We visited and ordered on Friday, 4.1.22 @ 4:10pm. Including us there were five customers in the facility. Ordering was mostly uneventful except I had to give ask three times for the cashier to take my wife’s acct number. When we began looking for a table we discovered most still,had reside from the previous customers. There was an enormous stack of dishes at the trash/dish receptacle (at least 12” above the dirty dish tray). The drink dispenser made so much noise we had to move. After 25 mins of waiting I inquired about our order to discover it had been over looked. When it finally arrived my half of the flatbread pizza has two tiny pieces of meat of it. My wife took one bit of margarita portion and quite. ? Money and time would be better spent at Any of the fast food windows!
I have always gotten the blueberry muffins here and loved them. Haven’t ordered one in a while. Don’t know what they changed or why but I got a blueberry muffin this morning and it was nothing like the ones they used to have. It was one of the worst blueberry muffins I have ever eaten.
I want to give a big thanks to James. I was having a bad day and didn't notice the time. I came in at 8:58pm and he attended me when no one else wanted to. He made my food super fast neat and delicious all with a sweet smile and great vibe on him, i was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Thank you so much you made my night. Give this young man a raise and acknowledge his good worth in your company. He has shown true customer service.
