A Greek restaurant seems a little out of place on River Street but it was a very nice experience. A family owned restaurant and it definitely had a Greek look and feel. The Greek salad was great and the portion size was huge. Location on River Street was great.
We definitely enjoyed our stop for dinner. Everything seemed very authentic, when we walked in. Nice table facing the water. We enjoyed the kebab sandwich with chicken, a side Greek salad. My wife loved the shrimp with a red sauce that I do not recall the name of. I tried it, also I thought it was delicious. She is gluten-free and they were able to handle her flawlessly.
This was a wonderful taste surprise! The service was friendly and helpful…(waitress suggested special of the day) The lunch was amazing ?? and more than enough! To top it off the most elegant lady was quietly directing the show. And with the same name sake as my beautiful ?grandmother she gave me permission to take her picture. This little restaurant is Big on service, taste and ambience?✨?✨
The service was wonderful. The grilled flounder was a thumbs up. The shrimp and scallops was mixed, one thumbs up and one down. The gluten free couscous was tender and well cooked. The shrimp was on and the scallops were good. The sauce left much to be desired. I gave it the thumbs down, to me it tasted like tomato paste, olive oil, and black pepper. I would go again to try one of the other entrees.
Venerable (31 years) Greek restaurant at waterfront of Savannah. Great food and service. Packed this time of year but quality still excellent.
We ordered takeout from Olympia Cafe, based on its TripAdvisor ranking. Big mistake. 1) There are 3 entrances - found takeout entrance on 3rd try. 2) Our order was missing (then found). 3) I used the bathroom while waiting, and I'd compare the cleanliness to a concert venue at the end of a show, or worse. 4) The food was ready in
This restaurant is all about location. The food and drink was average. We had the saganaki and the variety platter. It was just ok. Server was very nice. If you know Greek food this is not the best.
