This is solid Indian cooking— we ordered typical favorites like Chicken Tikka, naan, and Butter Paneer. I did find it a bit salty, but honestly it seemed like most of the restaurants in Savannah over-salt the food.
This is not a big place, but the flavors are huge. Many wheat and nuts free and vegan options. Authentic...brought back memories from when I babysat for a Hindu family.
The Chicken Curry is sooo good!!!! I'm like addicted to this food.
I still think about this dish. The flavor and spice were a perfect combination. The portion size is perfect for 2 people or plenty of leftovers. I havent been back to Savannah lately, when I do I will stop by and order again.
This place is a hidden gem in Savannah! The quality of the food is incredible, tastes great, and the service was excellent! Loved the large selection of gluten free and allergen friendly items. Not to mention you can eat dinner for half the price of the places surrounding this restaurant. We will definitely be back!
Great service and wonderful food. I was able to find vegan options and they were delicious. Great location too. Would highly recommend this place.
We have been on the hunt for a great Indian food restaurant since we moved to Savannah. This is hands down our top pick. Authentic and extremely tasty! We went to another Indian/Nepalese fusion place on the same road and it was extremely disappointing, so when we found this place we were extremely happy. Very nice wait staff, good portions, all around excellent.
We stopped in for a late lunch. They were still relatively busy, but not crowded. We had a couple of dishes off the tandori, including the chicken tikka and the hariyali kabob. The meat was so tender it nearly melted on your mouth. The dish was served with a curried rice. Tasty, but i prefer basmati with a bit of saffron so the flavor complements, and doesn't overpower the main course. The onion naan was over the top fabulous. The papad was good. Would definitely eat here again.
We ordered the food through ubereat. The restaurant staff did not read any notes we had provided on the site for our food. It was too oily, cold food and spicy. We had ordered fish curry and biryani and the meat was not cooked properly the food was not fresh also.
After a long day of walking through the streets of Savannah, we were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem open on Christmas Day!! Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend!!
