Our first biscuits in the south at the beginning of a 2-week vacation happened right here at Maple Street Biscuit Company. I'm here to report the biscuits were good. I was worried about long lines (as reported in other reviews) but our experience, perhaps just because we showed up early enough, was not a long line at all. You order at the counter, answer the question of the day, and your answer becomes your order name. The coffee was good but not “fabulous” as one review said. Could've been stronger.I had the "3 Layer Cake" which is a savory dish made of a hash browns and gouda "cake", mushroom gravy, and a fried egg. They missed my request for mushroom gravy the first time around and I had to have them redo it when it came out with sausage gravy. It tasted good, but the hash browns were underdone. There was a nice little kick to the mushroom gravy and it's nice that they have that as an option for vegetarians.I also got a biscuit on the side so I could experience the OG. It was a good biscuit, through the house-made jam it came with was too sugary sweet. There is plenty of seating upstairs and a little downstairs. As a biscuit aficionado, I'd definitely come back and eat here again.

Our first true stop on our four-day visit with it all about the food and drink...a breakfast stop..and I had seen the hype..and it's worth of all the credit that it has been given...great ! Breakfast spot! But you better hit it early..cuz they line up You place your order and pick up baded on their topic of the day..ours was our dream vacay wish (HI...get my wife there)..anyway... All good...I wish I had tried the cinnamon rolls biscuits..meant to go back and grab some before we left... But definitely worth it!! Add to your list

From what I observed throughout the weekend, there was a steady stream of customers. That's usually a good sign. So, I decided to check it out. There was a line when I visited but the cashier was able to keep the line moving. I must add that the cashier was very friendly and helpful. I observed this with all of the patrons who were ahead of me and experienced it when she took my order. I ordered The Sticky Maple Biscuit, Crispy Potatoes and Freshly Squeezed Orang Juice. The one thing I thought was weird was that they don't provide a tray of some sort to carry my food (or, at least, I wasn't offered one). So, in had to juggle my plate, my OJ and my bowl of crispy potatoes. Everything looked good. The OJ was very sweet and refreshing, but it wasn't cold. As a matter of fact, they had them sitting out at the counter. Perhaps they should put them in a bucket of ice after juicing. The crispy potatoes are dusted with Cajun seasoning and they were really good. The main entree was just okay. The combination of the items was okay, but I had a bite of the plain chicken and there wasn't any seasoning on it. The biscuit was okay. I know the name of the biscuit included "sticky" but in didn't realize that the biscuit would be sitting atop a pool of maple syrup. Proving hard to pick the biscuit up and eating it without having to clean your hands after every bite. A good idea is to provide some hand wipes. All in all, the customer service was awesome and the good was just acceptable. I'm still undecided on whether or not I'll return...

The chocolate chip waffle was beyond amazing! The maple bacon was cooked perfectly. Even my kids loved it, and that's saying something :) If you're in Savannah definitely put this one on your list. You won't be disappointed.

The service was great, but the food was awful.

The line was quite long but once we got to the front the food came out quick. If this rating was just for the food it would easily be a five, the biscuits are awesome and the goat cheese and pepper jelly are fantastic. The lower score come for the bathroom. It was in the basement of the building. The bathroom was quite dirty and the smell was horrible in the whole area. Made me want to throw up. I think the place can do better in this area

What could be better than chicken and biscuits? Amazing coffee and gravy. Service is fast even when it is crowded. Food is everything your grandmother would love. Such a fine experience for breakfast or brunch!

We probably spent 25 minutes or more in line waiting to place our order. It was worth the time. We each ordered biscuits with gravy, and one order included 2 eggs. A meal that kept us full all day! The people were super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back!!

Really enjoyed my visit, good atmosphere, the Staff was active and informative. They have a unique way to tell you your order is ready to pick up from area then you can take it to your seat if choice. The food is as delicious as it look with a twist. Certainly I'll be returning.
