The server was nice. The food was okay. Expensive for sure. We didn't dine on the BBQ meat cooked in front of you side of the place. It was outdated. The food is not that great.
The lady hostess was rude when I asked to be seated for the BBQ grill. I was by myself and she indicated that I needed 2 people to eat at the BBQ grill. Then she indicated that I would have to order at least 2 meats to sit at the grill and when I asked about the all you can eat option she asked if I could eat all that food? I was very confused and irritated and then she said I could eat at the grills as a single diner and sat me at one of the grills.I asked the waiter why I was given a hard time about wanting to eat at the BBQ grills as a single diner. He indicated there are no restrictions for a single diner eating at the grills as a single diner but I did have to order at least 2 meat dishes or the all you can eat option. He said the hostess was "special" and didn't really know what she was talking about. He did clarify that with the all you could eat option you could only have 2 orders at a time and could order more food upon completing the first 2 dishes. I understand the reason for all you can eat rules and people wasting food and ordering more food then they can eat and then taking it all in a to go box but I really think the hostess, ownership and management need to figure out a better way of explaining how their grilles work and not attacking a customer who wants to eat at the BBQ grills and questioning if they can eat all the food they order. Food's not bad but it is hot inside as other reviewers have noted. I'll be back to give them another shot but not a great experience. The waiter is the reason I'm giving the place 2 stars, he was extremely kind, helpful and attentive...I think he overcompensates for the rudeness of the other staff members. The Korean BBQ place in Pooler is definitely better service and food.
Our crew came in for a Thursday lunch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Appetizers and Entrees are all authentic and delicious. Service is excellent !!
I used to work here for a while. I was also a customer before that. First, this is NOT a real Korean BBQ. The taste overall is mediocre, but the worst thing is the hygiene. As someone who had worked at this restaurant I would NEVER let my friends eat here, not to mention my family. I can’t go into details, but man.. I never even bothered to try their food again ever since I realized how poorly everything was managed in terms of cleanliness. Silverwares, mops, cups, ice, and even meat itself is pretty gross… It’s a wonder how they even pass the inspection. I’m not even gonna get started with the owners and the staff. Anyway, if you value your money, avoid this place at all costs.
This is my first time leavings review ever. The only reason this is getting a 1 star is due to side dishes which were really good. meat weren't fresh, it didn't taste right and it was a weird color. service was zero star. They were extremely rude to us (except the nice old lady )asking us why we ordered more than 2 meats for all you can eat .. then recited the rules all over again on how we hsve.to finish food. at $32 plus 18% of automatic tip.. the check was $86 never again I genuinely feel sick to my stomach..Edit: I'm writing this after my soul left my body. Needless to say elwe had food poisoning. The "All" was very emphasize ?
I've never had the cooking at the table side, but the regular menu is excellent. The hot stone Bibimbap is amazing. I don't got over to that side too often, but I always try to stop in here when I do. A favorite for sure.
We loved our very first experience eating Korean BBQ! The family owned establishment is warm and welcoming and very good at showing us how to cook our food :) will definitely always recommend ?

I feel like 2 stars is being very nice after the experience I had. So my brother, my kids and I come to give this place a shot. So I have been to other Korea bbq places and this one is by far the worst one I have been to. Our waitress sat as down and began explaining the rules to us. She told us that we had 90 min to order our food and that we must eat everything we order. We told her to two meats we wanted to start with and ten minutes late she came out to us. Then a male waiter came and questioned my kids ages (7,9) then he left. Everytime we made an order , he would question if it was for the whole table and of course it was. Each order had a 10 minutes delay so be prepared to order while cooking. When they bought the food they put it on the grill and kept turning the meat for us. I finally told them to stop as we knew what we were doing. The whole experience of doing Korea bqq is cooking it yourself not having them do it for you. Our 2nd to last order took about 20 minutes, the male waiter didn’t tell our waitress our order and then they got the ticket confused for another table then they lost the ticket so we had to reorder. 90 minutes has passed and the manager or owner came back to inform us that’s we would normally pay for because it was still cooking , mind you they delayed bring your order out by 10 minutes. She explained that since they didn’t explain that it would be ok just this one time. She also asked them how much time we had left after an hour in. My brother and I are around 170-180 if you were wondering. Would I go back there? Nope I won’t go back.
We did the all you can eat with a large group. It was extremely worth the pice and the entire staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Great food amazing service and good prices highly recommend.
