Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. Great little lunch place with many unique and different choices. We did the half and half special, half a sandwich and a soup or salad. Turkey Cubano sandwich was delicious and the "half" salad was huge. The turkey chili soup was a little to dense with meat for me.The location is a tucked into a small parking lot area so it's easy to drive by and miss, but it's worth the hunt.

We really had a very good meal here. Since our daughters are vegan sometimes it's hard to find a place where we all can get something we like. This place fit the bill. We all enjoyed our choices. Great vegan options for them. We all loved the vegan tater tots nachos. They were delicious. The service was very good too. Another plus is that they have a parking lot. Next time we are in Savannah, with or without our daughters, we definitely will stop there.

I've been to Kayak Cafe many times and the food has NEVER disappointed. Tonight the service was amazing. In fact, Amanda may very well be the best server I've ever had. She was friendly, helpful, jolly, and just lit up the whole patio. Everyone was having a great time. There are always a variety of vegan and vegetarian options that are perfectly satisfying and full of flavor. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Savannah.

Our server was slow and the food was not as good as the downtown location. The day before, I ordered the shrimp and avocado quesadillas and it was WAY better. Also, the fryer at this location was broken so I couldn't get the boneless wings which was the whole reason I went there for lunch today. We had some leftover food so I asked for a box and to-go utensils. The server told me to grab the utensils myself by going to the bar. I asked another server a minute later who was more than happy to grab me the utensils. Overall, the customer service and food at the downtown was better than midtown.

This place is good. Only reason they lost the fifth star is because they did not have coffee :(The lunch we ordered: fish taco and avocado melt was tasty. Ingredients are fresh, it is clean. I will bring friends here next week.

I went to Kayak Cafe on a Tuesday around lunch time. I placed a to go order at the bar and it took forever. Not sure if it was due to the lunch crowd (wasn't pack) or not enough help. But one thing for sure, the shrimp tacos were DELICIOUS! I will go back, but will call in my order or take a load off and dine in. I would give 5 stars if it did not take so long.

Very friendly and hospitable server and amazing fresh food. Plentiful healthy and veg options. My only complaint was that the restaurant was freezing cold-significantly colder than it was outside on a cold day.

Really nice staff honestly (we arrived 30min before closing) and for dessert, they let us eat inside even though it was closing. The food was really good !

Kayak Kafe hosted our daughters rehearsal dinner! Amazing, friendly people! Didn’t feel rushed! Casual! Felt more like like a family gathering! Thank you so much!
