This is the worst slowest place I have ever been to. Do not add this as a stop on your Savannah vacation. They messed up our Togo orders and we waited over an hour and a half for a club sandwich. Thank goodness for Angel, she made the food and then made sure we got it. The ladies at the front did not tell Is it would take as long until the last person ordered food - completely inappropriate. We would have left did we not have one person without food.
Visited based on the great reviews, sadly this did not live up to the hype. We ordered an “award winning” shrimp salad…not award winning by any means - plain, bland and small. Not worth $16.The tuna melt was nothing special, certainly not a $14 sandwich.
Agree with other reviews that the service was slow. In our case the lone server was super nice and helpful but she was working the entire restaurant. The food was healthy and was good but there are so many great restaurants in Savannah that it is hard to recommend this place. We enjoyed our visit but not a place that we would return.

After reading many of the reviews I was expecting a spectacular meal. Unfortunately I found the food to be just average. Service was extremely slow. All in all, I was disappointed in the restaurant.
Not sure which is worse the food or the service. I understand some places may be short staffed but there was no excuse for what happened during my visit. Only one other two top was taken, so it wasn’t busy. The slowest service I have ever had. It took almost thirty minutes just to get a hummus appetizer. (burnt bread, shouldn’t have been served) Then the entree took so long that our waiter asked if we were ready for our check when we hadn’t even got our whole meal. Things we ordered were also forgotten. There were no apologizes made. Service wasn’t friendly or attentive. Used to come here all the time for the healthy food and vegan options but it has really gone down hill over the years sadly. I have tried giving it a couple more tries but each time I am disappointed.

The food is so good. The tater tots have the right crunch and level if saltiness. The dressing on the mixed greens salad is perfect. The mac and cheese is correctly advertised as really good. Both the tofu vegetable burrito and the shrimp avocado quesadilla were very yummy. 10/10 would go back and try the rest of the menu!
Best meal in a year! Fresh veggies and tofu wrap and tacos ?. Yum, yum! Seated and served quickly, great service, great flavors and great location. Don't let the current street construction stop you from this gem!
Our first day in Savannah we had to grab a quick bite before joining a tour. We walked into the Kayak for a sandwich to be able to walk with. My husband ordered the tuna melt and I got the greek panini. These sandwiches were outstanding! Clearly freshly made, warm, delicious bread, etc. Even the pickles were delicious! We were so pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, and spent the rest of the trip comparing what we ate to the Kayak. Well worth a try!
