This place sucks. Very expensive, food is very low quality. Will never go back to this place. $15 for a few small schrimp and two white fish fillets. Thank god we were just visiting, and never have to see this place again.
Myself and co workers eat lunch there two to three times a week. Fresh good delicious seafood.
I Purchased 6 previously frozen whitening fish from Jackie's seafood Market, however the fish were tasteless like they were frozen for a long period of time, in other words they were not fitting for anyone to eat.I Live in Pooler Georgia so It was too far for me to bring them back. So I Put them in the trash. I was not pleased with my Purchases.
The prices at Jackie's have skyrocketed!! Coming from a long-time customer, I am not pleased. And although this may be CDC guidelines, I hate that they have packets for cocktail sauce and tartar sauce yuck!
I was disappointed in the low country boil. The serving size was exceptional for the price; however, they use SMALL shrimp, but cut the potatoes in huge chunks. This resulted in shrimp cooked to mush, and potatoes that were still almost raw in the middle. *Sigh*
Been several times and they are usually great.Went about a week ago to get some shimp, crab meat and some red snapper fillets. The OPEN sign was on and the door unlocked. When i walked in all 3 employees looked up and just went back to work and ignored me for about 5 mins until i asked for help. I asked for some red snapper fillets but got told "no" they ONLY had whole fish? I told them I'd gotten them prepped before and didn't mind paying extra for the service. I guess i gotta find another seafood shop.
It's clean but I just can't trust them. You aren't allowed to see them weigh up your items .... highly suspicious

Good fresh fish and free for them to clean it for you! Many local catches for under $5 a pound! Small charge if they cook it for you.... Very reasonable. Polite efficient staff. You can practice your Spanish here too!
