This establishment allowed a serviceman with a disability to be physically assaulted. Then blamed him for the incident and banned him from their bar. The police were involved, and a military veteran was the only person, besides the police, who were willing and/or able to help him. The disabled man was already suffering from PTSD and had been going to the establishment for over 10 years. This bar is not what it seems to be, and has wronged the entire Wilmington Island and Savannah community on several occasions. The manager, Pete, will often fake an Irish accent. Stay away and be careful when around this place.Anyone is always welcome to file for a release of information with Chatham County...In my honest opinion, I do not think the owner is aware of any of this. And I know for certain that she genuinely cares about the community and her patrons.

Hands down the best bar on the Island!

You don’t choose IDaq, IDaq chooses you. It’s the best place on the island and my favorite place in all of Savannah. If the culture of the show Cheers was a divey sports bar, this would be the place. It’s not flashy, but it’s got that warm, old school, hometown feel that most aspire to find.

Great dive bar!!! All kinds of games to play, horse shoes, pool, darts, cornhole.

Super cool place.. Everyone was friendly and nice the moment I walked in.. Go Colts

So... kinda iffy when you walk in (some of us were Spanish.) But it turned out everyone was nice and I love the whole backyard concept with the games and etc. It would be cool if there stage was angled so could be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. But this is a VERY laid back local kind of place so it may not be everyone's margaritaville. But lots to do if you don't dance.

Its nice establishment. Very friendly place to be. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be returning.
