Hiranos is an institution that's been in this same spot for 30 years. Many Savannahians have grown up with it and shared it with their children. It has hardly changed since back then thanks to Taka's adherence to Mr. Hirano's original recipes and the food is consistently delicious. Great sushi, excellent hibachi, and the still the best Gyoza I can find anywhere in the western world.

Cute, casual, filling sushi fix, one of very few of its kind in the area. Understaffed, like so many other places, so don’t be in a hurry. Enjoy some sake while you wait, the food is worth it! We had sushi rolls, sake, salad with the ginger dressing, spring roll, and soup. Perfect for a sushi fix, no frills, but we always have fun and enjoy the meal.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE , the Teriyaki Chicken, Spring Rolls, Salad with the ginger dressing. Don't forget the yum yum sauce. Excellent service as well.
