Awful restaurant. Incredibly rude and incompetent staff. Go to any other Japanese restaurant in Savannah and don't waste your time and money here.

Excellent steak and shrimp dinner combo. The staff are so nice. The owner was the original owner of Hiranos Southside.

We are from out of town. We used an Uber to get there and she waited till our Uber driver drove off to tell us they were closed through the closed door. It says they are open till 9. Do not go there.
First of all I never used to go here but I decided to try it because of my co worker. I came in and ordered the rice entree with shrimp which was supposed to come with vegetables. It did not come with vegetables and my food was BLAND and THROWN together because they were about to close. Then on top of that they tried to suggest that my $50 bill was fake. When I confronted him about it he said someone had came in with a fake $50 so he was trying to be real thorough and check it. The unprofessionalism speaks volumes I even asked for extra sauce and he told me it was already in there but it was only one sauce. I will be posting the picture below. The pictures that people are posting actually look good but when you get the food it’s not like that. Do NOT EAT HERE !!
This is a favorite of ours. I absolutely love this place. Great sushi made by kind people. Get the Heiwa roll for sure. I also get the spicy tuna avocado salad and it’s amazing!
The gyoza was amazing as well as the sushi rolls that my husband and I got. We will be coming again. The owners work really hard and are very polite.
