We had heard and read not to miss Fire Street Food on our 2022 visit to Savannah and it was fantastic! The decor, the service and the FOOD!! My husband had the Lemongrass Chicken and I had the Seared Salmon, both dishes were bathed in Yellow Curry and the fresh vegetables were the best I have ever eaten. How do they make yellow squash taste so unbelievable? We loved the experience and definitely recommend.
We went here thinking it was a Thai place. They only had a few options for Thai. The food wasn’t even luke warm when we finally got it. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and it was mediocre.
First time eating here for a late night bite. The shrimp curry with the noodles was really good. The vegetables tasted very fresh and the curry sauce with the shrimp and noodles was so delicious. A great light bite eat.
We were staying just across the square at The Foley House and didn’t want to venture far for lunch so we were delighted to try Fire Street Food. It hit the spot. I had the Tuna Tataki salad, and I was surprised with the generous portion of seaweed included. There were also some mixed greens and a delicious dressing. Nice and light but it packed the protein punch I needed to power through the afternoon. My husband and I also shared the fried dumplings; they were perfect. We ordered the Forsyth roll, which was simple and fresh. And my husband had the chicken Pad Thai, which he enjoyed. As we sat just inside the front entrance, I can’t comment well on decor or ambiance, but it was a busy and bustling restaurant, which I interpret as a positive sign that it’s a popular spot, for both the food and the environment.
The food is fresh and they are very accomodating when it comes to diet restrictions. We never had to wait.
It was our last night in Savannah and we checked this spot out. Our waitress was very friendly, and the food was great. The restaurant was bustling with customers, a sign of a good place. We would absolutely return when we come back.
We were about to head out from historic Savanah on vacation on a Saturday. We had a taste for Asian eats and I found Fire Street Food on TA. We finally found a parking lot spot but it cost us $23.10 for the minimum of 2 hours. We really liked the simple menu choices at FSF. We had some Pad Thai, Sushi rolls, Chicken curry bowl, spring rolls, Edamame and Bubble Teas plus water to drink. All were great. Our service from Jelffa was really good. However, our total bill with tip & tax came to $95.00 plus the parking, which is not the restaurant's fault. Oh, the "joys of travel".
The food was delicious and very tasty. Truly enjoyed it and would go back next time I am in town!
Thanks to the reviews we saw, we had the most delicious meal in Savannah! I had the lemongrass chicken, my partner had the beef bowl and we had chicken tenders and fries as an appie. Their boba Thai tea is the best I've ever had!
Anything you order here will be great! Though, oddly enough my all time favorite menu item is their burger. They have the BEST cheeseburger in Savannah. Nothing compares. The staff works hard and is always very kind. Thank you Daven and the staff and Fire Street Food, you all are great! ?
