The food was excellent!! The staff is amazing Erica is such a nice person she actually greets everyone and cares about the people come eat. And Stephanie was great she made sure we where good the whole time. ???.
OMG. First time eating here today. First, our waitress, Stephanie, was sweet as pie and gave excellent service. We also got to meet Erica herself and she was equally as nice! Now for the food….THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. The crab dip was so creamy and full of flavor, the grits with my delicious grouper were the fluffiest ever, the MOLASSES SMOKED BRUSSELS are FREAKING OUT OF THIS WORLD, the shrimp and fish are perfect, the banana pudding (which I’m normally not a fan of) was impossible to stop eating. Even the sweet tea was perfectly sweetened with a clean fresh taste. The people and the food get 10 stars ⭐️ I cannot wait to make another trip here (all the way from Upstate SC)
If I could rate this place a million stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. We traveled to Savannah for a girls trip from the upstate area and have been following their IG account for months leading up to this weekend. From the Oysters Rockefeller and crab dip to start, I knew we had made the right decision. We both sat in silence for most of our meal in amazement. I almost cried from how great the shrimp and grits were and we finished off with the banana pudding. Stephanie was our server and she was TOP NOTCH, STELLAR, AMAZING, SO KIND, SO PERSONABLE and made us feel right at home from the minute we walked in. To top it off, we got to meet Erica herself and she was seriously the sweetest person. We are trying to figure out how many times we can come back before we leave in a few days! Thank you so much. We LOVED every second of being in your restaurant.
Staff was warm and welcoming. The fried okra was amazing and steamed shrimp delicious. Fried Green Tomatoes didn’t hit the mark, but presentation was great. Overall a nice experience. The place was really busy the day we had lunch there.
First I want to say my server Maddie made us feel very welcomed with her enthusiasm. Dog friendly just like most places in Savannah also. There is an outside eating area but I’d recommend inside due to it being by the water. (Flys and mosquitos ect) You get a lot of quality food for the price here so make sure you come hungry. I recommend the briskez, but with a seafood/BBQ establishment you can’t go wrong. I’ll definitely be back to try other meals.-Review Daddy
This was recommended as a “must go” while visiting Savannah and BOY, it most definitely is a must! Every bite was scrumptious and all of their homemade sauces are AMAZING. We had the fried green tomato & grilled shrimp appetizers, BBQ combo and 1/2 chicken entrees and banana pudding dessert (didn’t survive long enough on the table to be pictured). To top it all off, our waitress Stephanie made our dining experience extra pleasant!
Excellent experience and I strongly recommend this restaurant. The food was well-prepared, delicious, served hot and fresh - these are interesting dishes served at a very fair price. The service was extraordinary: attentive, friendly, informative and generous. I had the gumbo, my partner had the brunswick stew and we shared the fried green tomatoes and a couple of side dishes (great collards!). I went to Paula Deen's a couple weeks ago, and the food quality at Erica Davis is MUCH HIGHER - no comparison
After reading several google reviews we decided to try the restaurant. It is in a building that resembles an auto garage and has a fun & funky vibe. The staff is friendly and the service was great! The food….. Amazing!! The steamed shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection, tender and not mushy like I’ve experienced at other restaurants. The fried oysters were out of this world!! The breading not thick, light and crispy, it just covered the oyster thinly. And the crab stew was like a flavor party in my mouth…. Tons of crab meat and loaded with flavor. You must try this restaurant when you visit Savannah. It will not disappoint and it will leave you wanting to come back just to eat here. Forget the tourist traps!
Excellent food and service! Our server was such a delight and the food can compete with any high end restaurant in Savannah. But the environment is relaxed and low key. Don’t miss this local favorite from a Savannah family who knows their seafood!
The food here is amazing! We got the redfish and crab cakes. Crab cakes are literally 99% crab, seasoned well, and absolutely no fishy taste! And the redfish has a creamy sauce mixed with the grits that you can't simply pass on.Go there today!
